reading shadowhunters books for the first time! *spoilers* ✴️✨ mortal instruments 1-3

I just read clockwork angel. Unpopular opinion, but I like the first 3 books of TMI better than clockwork angel. I know a lot of people prefer TID over TMI. But, I’ve still got 2 more books to go.

i’ve also heard that people tend to enjoy TID over TMI. from what i can remember of when i read clockwork angel (although i don’t remember much haha) i so far definitely prefer TMI more! but same as you, i still need to reread clockwork angel & read the rest of TID before i come to any final conclusions!
