This series had/has me in a chokehold, I fell in love after the first book and ate them up. This series ruined me for all other “Fae” books or fantasy romance, I’m guilty of comparing them to this. I was so hoping you’d love them as much but I respect your opinion 😩😁

Girl I totally agree, normal audio is way better than the graphic audio! I listened to part of a court of silver flames on graphic audio and had a hard time concentrating/following along on the plot. Plus it seemed to go by slower compared to normal audio lol

lol i liked the GA for the first book but after that i was like i think i like the voices i made up in my head for the characters more than the voice actors 😅

As a die hard Sara J Maas fan - read throne of glass series before crescent city. All three series are connected.

@@KyrahStewart YES! They are amazing! Throne of Glass started as a YA (because she was 16 when she wrote the first book) and has the most “tear-jerker” scenes throughout. It also has only like 2 “s*x scenes” in the whole series if I remember correctly so it’s very clean and amazing plot.

You should definitely read Throne of Glass! I just finished the entire series and it was chefs kiss. I think you might enjoy that series more than ACOTAR. People say to read ACOTAR, Throne of Glass, and then Crescent City. I highly recommend researching before since there is big debate on the reading order of Throne of Glass. Can't wait to see what you think on both series❤

Ya i saw on Sarah’s website that you can read any of the series in the order you want so I’m thinking about doing tog last just because it’s such a commitment!!

Yayy!!! I’m so glad you finally read ACOTAR!! Definitely think you should read Crescent City next since it is the sister series to ACOTAR and still on going. I just recommend reading it before TOG to avoid any spoilers since people are still actively talking about that series. TOG is more like a cousin series that has been completed so you can read that once you are caught up on Crescent City

omg I 1000% agree with your opinion on ACOMAF. I don’t think I’ve ever related to someone more bc I also did not like ACOMAF. I was surprised bc everyone and I mean EVERYONE was raving about the second book! It took me a month to finish ACOMAF and I’m glad I did bc I ended up loving the rest of the series especially ACOSF!

I loved the graphic audio. And Feyre does have whiny moments. I’m def curious on your thoughts of ACOWAR. Its taking me forever to finish lol felt like it drags a lot.

Loved this video!!! The ACOTAR series got me back into reading! ACOMAF was my personal favorite with ACOSF as a close second. The whole series took me forever to read because fantasy is just hard to follow for me personally (and they’re incredibly long). Also considering reading Crescent City but I’m not sure yet.

I’m shook that you liked ACOSF. If you thought FEYRE was whinny how could you POSSIBLY like NESTA!??😭😭 she’s so so horrible throughout 90% of the book. And I just feel like despite her “turning a new leaf” at the end, i just can’t excuse her behavior she was literally so awful and annoying a mean and Cassian deserves literally anyone else.

LOL i think bc nesta was like i didn’t ask for this and was forced into this position where her sisters bf is now her Lord and she hates them so I liked that about her story! Feyre to me was like *sigh I’m so weak and fragile* then a few months later *oh wait i am strong and capable* and i thought that was boring and cringe lol

Heyyy :) i read the series anddddd I listened to the first one on graphic audio and fell so down lol bc of everything she was going through it just felt so dark, the next one was so enjoyable in comparison to me and then Wings and ruin was great, i wish i had savored the series more but the silver flames was a no for me lol i guess you put it in words the smuttiness of it was A LOT, i wanted more growth and it just didnt feel like there was much going on.

Kyrah no! This series is my Roman Empire and I’m hurt lol Do you think if you only read the book and not listen to the audio your experience would’ve been different? I feel like the hearing the audiobook during spicy scenes can be incredibly awkward so I highly recommend just reading!

A preferred Crescent City over TOG & ACOTAR. If anything I think you'll find throne of glass excruciating 😅 but the characters are better and more likeable. I dislike how she pairs the characters up. Like every single one ends up in a relationship or with a mate
