I understand what you mentioned about readers guessing the plot twist to be a positive thing because it means the author has built a coherent reveal that makes sense with the world created, but what I think is EVEN BETTER is when the reveal is coherent and realistic, but so smart the author still manages to trick the reader.

I'm fairly new here, but this type of video is perfect. I Do come here for the reading tips, the book reviews, & your personal opinion on books; however the small clips of family life are nice too. Since I am only now, at the age of 40, discovering a love for books, I have visited countless other book-tubers channels. Your personality comes through as the most genuine & whether you DNF a book or love it, I enjoy watching your expressions as you explain why. You seem like the type of girl I'd be friends with & that's why I'm drawn to your channel more often than anyone else.

Loved this reading vlog, in part b/c I've also read and given 5 stars to the three you did ha. Wilder Girls, The Turn of the Key, and Lock Every Door are currently on my best reads of the year list, for sure. The latter two I think especially hit the spot b/c I adore Gothic thrillers. Def do a spoiler talk on Lock Every Door/Turn of the Key! I would totally watch. I expect the endings of both will make some people really unhappy, but both worked for me. I'm sad the Megan Miranda was boring, though. I devoured a few of her past books, but your saying this one reads different gives me real pause, re: buying it. This is random but I love the graphics you use in your vlog. Do they come w/ your editing software, or did you make them? I'm always curious how people make such cute graphic elements/transitions for their videos (I feel like such a video n00b sometimes).
