What a fun vlog, and full of good books. I have started Half a Soul, and enjoying it so far, A Curious Beginning is a fun romp, and Starless Sea is sitting on my Maybe Next shelf waiting for me to get to it. I enjoy Erin Morgenstern’s writing, so looking forward to finally getting to it. Yona - I’ve read the first volume but at this point I’m not overly interested in continuing it. And your star blanket is gorgeous - now I really need to try one!

This was such a great idea to do for a Katie and it looked like she enjoyed it a lot and I hope she is surprised as well as thrilled you read some of her favorite books and enjoyed them. Happy reading!!

As someone who also LOVED The Starless Sea and didn’t quite vibe with The Night Circus I feel super validated right now 😅😅

Yes, I was the exact same one! I read the Starless Sea first and it's an all-time fav, but I literally could not get into the Night Circus.

I am so obsessed with the star blanket!!! I’ve been wanting to make one but I have to wait till I finish some other projects I started and also I don’t have any yarn for it but wow that green and brown color scheme is phenomenal!

I've recently listened to "how you lose the time war" on audio and I thought it was really interesting, 4 stars. was confused through most of the book (and still don't really know what's going on) but I don't think you're supposed to

519 / 5.000 What a great video and what lovely gifts and gestures. You really managed to surprise the friends and the cake is so great. I also really liked Eureka, a very atmospheric little town. The Erin Morgestern book has now been translated into German and has gone straight onto my wish list. I've written down the other two. If they aren't translated, I'll try to read them in the original. Thanks in any case for the inspiration

No but I read The Night Circus a year ago and hated it! I think it was just to much of nothing happening for me to enjoy!

I DNF'd the Night Circus, but the Starless Sea is one of my favorite books of all time, so it might be worth a shot, lol. I think they are so different!
