i just finished my reread of the first acotar! and you actually inspired me to finally finish my reread of clockwork princess (i sobbed for the last 90 pages) and start chain of gold! i've never read it, but i'm absolutely loving it so far!

I love the UK Brando Sando covers, even if the spines break easily. Since you inspired me to read Stormlight Archives, I’m looking at the white UK covers too, but each book is broken into two paperbacks which I’m not thrilled about…. But it would match Mistborn…. You see the struggle

i think the uk paperbacks would be too powerful if the spines weren't stiff honestly haha, but i absolutely see the struggle! the us paperback are incredibly floppy though, i would highly recommend even though they wouldn't match!

I started rereading a series that I haven't read in a while and I binged the first 2 books over the weekend which was a nice surprise for me. Now I am reading that 3rd book in the series and I haven't even started my reread of the name of the wind yet for the live show

I literally just finished Anatomy- a love story, one of the books you chose to take to college. And I must say I have never read such an interesting and different book. The describtions of prozedures on the human body are nothing for weak nerves. But I loved it and I am very excited to see you read it anytime soon.

Great vlog! Loved all the green-chair, ottoman, journal, shirt-my favorite color. I’ve been putting off reading Priory of the Orange Tree and the Daevabad trilogy since 2020 when I bought a huge Amazon book haul on sale (including the Kingkiller books which I traded in last year). I keep picking up anything but those -so I understand you wanting to read what you’re in the mood for. 😬

I finally have the entirety of the infernal devices, though I still have to finish mortal instruments before starting them. The intention is there though. Also I notice a lovely pastel edition of Six Crimson Cranes which Cass also has......and I'm excited for what that means

okay but i can NOT wait to see what you think of the infernal devices!! also, i would recommend only reading the first three mortal instruments books before you read the infernal devices! something at the end of tmi spoils some of the end of the infernal devices!!

winnie was doing too much in the vlog haha😭 and i'm definitely very interesting in zodiac academy, i'm just unsure of how i would feel about it?and if you don't want the teenage vibe i really would not recommend the mortal instruments! however if you're interested in shadowhunters you can always start with the infernal devices (which i feel has less of a teenage vibe to it!)

okay i have to know which flashback scene is your fav from chain of gold!! ik you probably didn't specify (15:01) so you wouldn't spoil anything but i've already read the book like a million times & need need need to know also while we're on the subject & in the spirit of chain of thorns' upcoming release i'd love to share my million thoughts abt the series (mostly just chain of iron tho) with you, just bc i'm reliving all the feelings ⚠EXTREME SPOILERS FOR TLH⚠ 💖cassie clare + tlh characters + murder mystery + soap-opera-level-drama = happiness 💖my favorite character is thomas!!!! he's just so honest & kind & selfless & totally clueless & is honestly kind of me on the inside. the relationship between him & alastair just has me screaming every time (i've literally read every thomas pov like four million times because i'm that obsessed. the sanctuary scene, the paris scene -- literal otp...THEY MAKE ME SO HAPPY 🥰🥰🥰 💖matthew is my precious cinnamon roll & i think he's gonna die in the next book. if cassie does that to me....💔 💖james & cordelia are literally everything. i love matthew sm but i need him to find someone else to love because daisy is perfect for james 💖omg the house!!! THE FACT THAT JAMES PICKED OUT EVERYTHING IN THE HOUSE SPECIFICALLY FOR DAISY AND SPENT LIKE WEEKS WORKING ON IT?!?!?! i literally can't 💖the wedding was everything to me. i kinda want them to redo it tho with all their friends when they actually know they love each other 💖the fact that we learn sm about grace's past and i still hate her...why does she ruin everything?!?!?! not to mention the fact that tatiana told grace to use her power to get jesse to come back to them...ewwww 😳 💖lucie & jesse's relationship just seemed so forced to me. i feel like lucie only likes him because he's a ghost & therefore adventure? idk also jesse is such a flat character imo. his whole personality is literally "omg i'm a ghost 😭" and now that he's not a ghost...maybe he has no personality now 💀 💖the miscommunication between everybody is soooooo heartbreaking. alastair doesn't think he deserves thomas & that all of thomas's friends hate him (which isn't exactly true anymore), ariadne doesn't think anna loves her but anna really does & is just scared of being with her, and cordelia thinks james is in love with grace & so she ran off to paris with mAtThEw. like whyyyy

Winnie is an absolute star. I just want to give her chin scritches 🐈‍⬛🐈‍⬛. I have just finished my reread of The Last Hours series, and am all ready now for the release of Chain of Thorns in a week! This time around I forced myself to read Chain of Gold and Chain of Iron more slowly by reading along with the audiobook - I like Finty Williams’ narration. These books are so enjoyable. This series is probably my favourite of the Shadowhunter books, Infernal Devices is a close second.
