I love Crescent City! It was actually the first SJM book I read, & arguably my favorite of her books individually. But as a whole, Throne of Glass is by far the top tier series.

Just found your channel and I love it!!! I’ve read almost all of SJM’s books and I will say, Crescent City is my favorite so far. I did read it and listen to the audiobook and I will say the audiobook is much more captivating for the series with the writing style, its much easier to listen to instead of read Super excited to see if you review the second book in the series!!

I recently just bought the UK version of A Court of Thorns and Roses in a thrift store and I want to try reading it again because I DNF the book when I first tried to read in high school because I did not like the main character AT ALL. I want to try it again! ❤️

i also watched kiki's delivery service in theatres a couple weeks ago & it was so fun!!! i read crescent city when it came out and personally loved it way more than SJM's other series, but i also understand why some people don't like it at all!

I really enjoyed Crescent City but my favorite is Tog. I can understand when people don’t like crescent city it’s definitely different from the rest.

I’ve read all of SJM’s series and my favorite is the original trilogy for Acotar. The found family and romance is top tier. TOG Is also really good but it’s a bit inconsistent in quality and we also begin to see the arrival of unnecessary page lengths 😂

That cauldron mug is so cute. I love Kiki’s Delivery Service. ACOTAR is my favourite series but I wasn’t the biggest fan of Silver Flames. Crescent City is my ultimate guilty pleasure. It’s so superficial and pure escapism but phones in my fantasy throws me off too. This is why I wasn’t the biggest fan of Book of Night. The kittens are adorable too

Hi, Katie. I have mixed feelings of Crescent city too. I didn't read the second book yet but when I'll do I tell you if it gets better or if not. I very like Throne of glass especially the world sjm created. I have to read do last book sometime soon. I read just first book of ACOTAR series but I know I gonna love next books. I would like to read acomaf like right now but I am still pushing it of because I want to finish Tog firstly end then get into all acotar books somehow. Hope it makes sense. 😂 Heh.

CC #1 should have been atleast 200 pages less & the same goes for CC #2. I do enjoy the characters & setting but I just wish her editors would be a bit more aggressive with their cuts 😭

I read House of Earth and Blood when it came out. I liked it, but one thing I really disliked is that the first major moment is literally spoiled in the blurb. For me this made me not care about the character it involved and made the first 50 pages less interesting
