A Sky Beyond the Storm absolutely DESTROYED ME. Sabaa Tahir is such an amazing storyteller and her conclusion of the series was amazing. It might honestly be my favorite fantasy YA series of all time!

I really love the Netflix k-drama called "Hospital Playlist"! I highly recommend it, season one is out right now and season two will be coming out later in 2021! (P.s., as a Korean myself, I find it so cool that you are interested in Korean entertainment)

One aspect you mentioned is also my fav thing about the Ember series, and that is how the villains are constructed. Even though you know what they do is wrong, you still understand their actions. THAT is what makes a good villain imo! 👌🏼

Jujutsu Kaisen is absolutely phenomenal, def best anime (and #1 anime) of last year, both you and Starlah are going to have so much fun!! What I found even cooler about watching JJK at such an early stage was that were watching the beginnings of the next big shonen anime as it begins and airs, as opposed to watching it after its already been established as a shonen great. This sounds weird lol but it's just a cool feeling bc I've always watched popular shonen animes after they have many arcs/seasons, but this time im getting to experience it in real time with fans. Can't wait to hear your thoughts on it as you watch more 😊

I highly recommend the Chinese drama The Untamed! It’s a fantasy series with great complex characters and worldbuilding. The costuming is fantastic. I think it’s right up your alley on netflix, but it’s super long! Also, Matilda is so adorable.

@@olgasjournal I’ve read And Every Morning the Way Home Gets Longer and Longer, The Deal of a Lifetime, and Bear Town. I currently have Anxious People on my tbr list! I do plan to read Britt-Marie was Here and my grandmother asked me to tell you she’s sorry this year. A Man Called Ove was my first read by Fredrik Backman and each novel or novella I’ve read of his hasn’t disappointed me. I enjoy his writing and his characters very much.
