Same + in some cases I feel like that when two idols were seen together and their relationship gets exposed - only for it to be like "Oh they broke up" like 2 weeks or a month after, it's because they weren't even in a relationship but simply got caught hooking up. And because SK is still conservative, the idols and/or the company would rather let it get called a relationship than just hooking up. I wish people wouldn't be so judgemental (sorry for my bad English).

Yeah, it is honestly so hard like the kpop community in our school is so hidden and we have to be strong to deal with all the insults, it's surprising how racist people still are these days. People always automatically hate kpop as well, but its kinda fun being a part of such a hidden community as hard as it is, in my school we have a kpop dance club and it's my favourite time of the week, but its often rudely interrupted by other people barging in, making fun of the dances and acting like they know kpop when they clearly don't, it's annoying but I'm glad I became a kpop stan, its so fun. K-pop honestly really helped me when I started secondary school and I had no friends, I made my first friend through kpop, and I have known them for many years now, and through them I managed to find an amazing friend group (Me and my bestie managed to convert them all into kpop stans) and I just went to a concert with one of them. Kpop really changed my life and it may make me have to deal with some challenging people, but I'm really glad I clicked on that one Blackpink mv those years ago.

Gurl I still dk all of my classmates names n faces properly even after studying a whole damn year with them. Till this day I sometimes confuse Taehyun n Soobin from TXT from time to time and SVT! T-T sure some members are more distinguishable than others but I took a while to remember all thier faces n I still sometimes fck up, n not to mention their names.... I remember reading smtg abt SVT n they dropped a name and I was like who? Turns out it's Woozi! Woozi is not his real name. My heart sank that day as I was hit the realisation that all the 13 names that I soo hardly learnt n trying to connect with 13 faces is kind of not it... cus their real names are still left for me to remember n put a face onto the name So yea- u ain't alone hun, n the medical name for facial blindness is prosopagnosia. Its really a spectrum, some cases are more extreme than others while I will pass of as minor case, but its still there. There's also a medical term for not remembering names of people n guess what I forgot the name of the medical condition that's abt forgetting names.

off topic but there's also this really weird obsession with some stays/ kpop fans where they really like to drop the gay label on some idols because of certain affections they express towards their friends/co-workers and it's so normalised to see a clip of (for example) han jisung and felix being affectionate and it's captioned with something along the lines of "my fave gay couple" Not only does that put a label on them that they may not identify with but that also perpetuates the toxic masculine trait that if men are affectionate with one another then it's "gay". Also in korean culture it's more normalised for men to be affectionate with each other to a *certain extent* as compared to western cultures. the whole thing annoys me so much.

Almost 2 years ago, i tried to become a stay cause there were a lot of funny edits if stray kids on my fyp and i liked them, i asked this one stay to help me in literally the youtube comment section, they told me a few songs and videos to watch and stuff. I just couldn't stan them cause their music really isnt my type and i didnt enjoy their content as much as i thought i would. A few months ago that same stay replied on that youtube comment asking how my stay journey is going, i told them that its not for me and stuff and they were sooo nice about it and understanding that everyone has different preferences. That's why in my head i have a very good image of stays. Guess it all depends on the interactions we have😭😭😭

lol the best book i have ever read was a chanbaek fanfiction and this is coming from someone who reads a lot of romance books (not fanfics) i remember clearly it was a sad story and the ending was so heart wrenching i boweled for hours after i finished it and i still feel some pain in my heart whenever i remember it, i hope the author who wrote it is successful now because she totally has the potential, i got into kpop in 2018 after i saw a bts song on tv, i think it was fake love which is still my favorite song by them til this day and i am not even an army but i used to listen to a few of their songs that i found good but i have never committed to them because at the time they were at their peak and armies were also at their peak of craziness, it was a shock for me as a new person to kpop overall but i didn't have it in me to hate the group because of their fans and i am also very thankful that they introduced me to kpop and therefore i discovered my ultimately favorite group aka EXO. i remember one time i found a video here on youtube that said in bold proof that taekook was real, it was an audio of two guys kissing and moaning, my stomach rolled and i felt sick at the time i couldn't keep listening, but i totally believed it was them but i got enlightened a year or two later, getting older is a blessing hahahaha another confession, i don't like twice's nayeon, there's something about her that rubs me the wrong way, i always get bad vibes from her, it's been years and i still get the same feelings about her like something is off.

I don't watch confession videos because most of the time, k-tubers only do mean commentary to appear cool instead of simply talking about it. Gosh, I wish I had some similar, cringey but funny confessions like these. I would love to participate. My k-pop journey quite smooth and without much drama. I’m 25 remind you, but last year when King The Land was airing there was this one kissing scene he had with Yunah from SNSD (I’m actually a fan of them as well I love Yunah).
