Shamelessly adding my story here because it wasn’t selected lol: I used to work in aerospace and defence and my main duty was making specific airplane parts and in the section next to me was a guy in my age group who’d always message me on google chat (he would message me using our company email) and would always ask a lot of questions and even gave compliments which I don’t think is professional. The biggest twist of the story was I had a crush on one of the engineers but because it’s a workplace I could never get around to even saying hi because we’re all working. Long story short, I told the guy who kept messaging me to keep conversations professional after he asked me “why do you blush so much when you stretch” I find that very unprofessional because our company is very focused on productivity and we have stretch breaks and it gave me the impression he watches me which makes me feel uncomfortable, so I never participated again lol and he apologized after I told him off. I ended up leaving the company and now work in a woman dominated field lol.
