I read 4 books by Fredrik Backman 1. A Man Called Ove (oowaah, 2 syllables, उ and वा) 2. Beartown 3. My Grandmother Asked Me to Tell You She’s Sorry 4. Us Against You And I absolutely adore him. His books have so many beautiful quotes. I have noted down his 80+ quotes in notion from these 4 books. My favorite quote by him is If you are honest, people may deceive you. Be honest anyway. If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfishness. Be kind anyway. All the good you do today will be forgotten by others tomorrow. Do good anyway. What you create, others can destroy. Create anyway. Because in the end, it is between you and God. It was never between you and anyone else anyway. - Beartown by Fredrik Backman

Thanks for the recommendations. There were quite a few interesting ones. I adore Neil Gaiman, and have read most of his work. American Gods is definitely a class apart. The concept of how the source of power of a God is actually how much faith and sacrifice humans are ready to put in for them, it just blew my mind. To think about in reality also the Demi gods we make out actors and cricketers has less to do with their skills and more to do with people's love and affection for them. Great read indeed. Similarly Misery is my favourite Stephen King book. As the horror of it comes not some imaginary ghost but from a very real possibility. Also my favourite part is how the protagonist of the book actually is able to twist the plot to get the main character of his book back to life. The main character actually finds a way to crawl out of her own grave, gave me goosebumps.

Thank you for the interesting amd unique book reccs! I look forward to each video you put out, and your channel has helped me explore different genres. I included how to fail at almost anything and still win big and immortal life of Henrietta Lacks in my reading list. The second book was recommended by my public health professor as well and is a good read by her.

Hi Avdhoot, Thanks for the video and your interesting recommendations. I am that person who started reading because of booktubers (Indian). In the past few years I observed that most of my favorite youtubers have become MIA. I recently discovered your channel and happy to know that you are in growing phase of "booktube-ing". I wish all the very best and hope you will get such interesting book recommendations for us in the coming future. --- Bhanu Sri

As a student in class 11 i used to read a lot of books as a kid but I stopped as I'm preparing for competitive exams but I miss reading a lot. Could you give some advice on how to read more while preparing for competitive exams and could you give a few book recommendations for students?

How is "The midnight library" book ? I can tell you that the Immortal life of henerita lacks is good , You can read it and I think you will love it.

I read the midnight library book last year... The book is really good but I think it depends because it focuses on a lesson that is commonly know by people but if you are kinda depressed and not in a stable state of mind and chaos are going on in your life then you will find this book interesting otherwise it will be monotonous to read all those things you know what's gonna happen.... But you may try to find out if it's good for you or not by reading it once... Try it... I think it will be a fun experience😊🎉 Happy reading 📖
