For how dark this mission was shown in the trailer and the premise being just as dark, the music is a lot more upbeat than I expected

it makes sense to me, it's a chaotic situation, meant to be overstimulating, with the weather, alarms, helicopters, and lethal corners everywhere, it's OST really nails in the chaos, yet importance of what you are doing.

Another badass track, love to see it. Great work by Bower for this DLC’s tracks. 4:28 seems to be the same riff from Brisa Cove, though I’m not entirely sure what the connection is between the levels.

Political terrorism, 3-Letter Triad uses a motif from Greased Palms and they both revolve around weapons smuggling

the connection is the targetting of a politician or politically influencial person the senator in brisa cove nearly being sniped by "The Left Behind" and the United Planet Front attempting to assassinate Sven Andersen-Lincoln to stop him from getting new oil rigs up and running on the coast

Both the United Planet Front and The Left Behind are fighting for noble causes (fighting climate change and veterans rights respectively) but are doing so with deplorable tactics (assassination attempts, terrorism, and hostage taking/murder). I guess that’s what they’re trying to say with the musical connection
