Clem Chowder is an incredibly popular American soup made from shellfish, other seafood or fish, most often made with added milk or cream. The fish chowder we cook today can be called a mix. We will use fish, shellfish, seafood and bacon. If you are not ready to combine bacon and fish in the first course, you can not use meat, it will not greatly affect the taste. But I think this combination is great. It seems to me that this seafood soup is sure to surprise you with its rich and delicate creamy taste.

Ingredients for making Clem Chowder Soup
For the broth:
1 onion
1 clove of garlic
1 carrot
¼ celery
1 bay leaf
5 peas of allspice
For the soup:
2 cloves garlic
400 g of sea cocktail
250 g of bacon (optional)
1 pollock fillet
400 g of mussels in shells
500 ml of milk of 2,5% of TM "Cornflower field"
3 potatoes
1 st. l. flour (optional)
40 g of butter
parsley (for serving)
to taste salt and pepper
The process of making Clem Chowder soup
Peel 1 onion and cut in half, peel the celery, cut the carrot into several pieces. In a large saucepan, place onions, celery, carrots, 1 clove of garlic, 1 bay leaf and 5 peas of allspice. Add a little salt and cook the vegetable broth for 15-20 minutes.
Cut 250 g of bacon into arbitrary pieces, pollock fillets cut into large pieces. In another pan, melt 40 g of butter and add bacon and pollock. Fry on low heat.
Meanwhile, cut 3 potatoes into small cubes, peel and crush 2 cloves of garlic. Add the potatoes and garlic to the pan with the fish and bacon. Fry for another 3 minutes.
Add 400 g of mussels in shells and 400 g of sea cocktail. Fry everything together for a few more minutes.
Get the vegetables out of the prepared broth, we won't need them anymore. Pour the broth over the seafood and fish so that it slightly covers the contents of the pan. I took about 1 liter of broth.
Pour 500 ml of milk TM "Cornflower Field", add salt and pepper to taste and cook the soup for 15 minutes on low heat.
Add 2 tbsp to the pan. l. flour. This is optional, you can skip this step. Stir with a spatula to distribute the flour well. I add it to make the consistency of the finished soup smoother and thicker. When serving the soup, garnish with parsley.
