This was the best of the puck videos that I’ve seen and I’ve watched a bunch. I did my 2020 using this video this morning and had zero issues. One change, I didn’t rotate the top hat 180°. The bottom mount will rotate by simply clamping one of the tabs in a vice and pulling the strut to the opposite angle. It’s roughly 7° and easy to move, no need for a spring compressor.

You can just rotate the complete strut 180°.

I went with the Fox 2.0 leveling struts and couldn’t be happier . More money , but less work and better ride quality.

I have a 2015 f150 that I leveled a couple weeks ago 2.5 with 22” wheels on 33 tires and I knew some ride quality was going to be gone but when I hit a bump or rough spots in the highway it seems to throw my truck sideways one way or another kind of like it comes off the ground but definitely seems like I lose control of it while I’m hitting that rough spot in the highway I did all that at the same time so just asking what would be the problem haven’t had time to go back to the place that did the work but I never seen anybody else mentioned anything like this just trying to see where I or them go wrong thanks in advance your truck looks great

Why’d you rotate the top strut cap 180 degrees? The other kits don’t say to do that.

If u didn’t find out yet, it’s because the two bottom bolts on the strut are at an angle, then when u put the leveling kit on it will make the 3 upper studs face the other way and the angle at the bottom would be opposite.

I did it myself. But i wouldnt take it anywhere to be done that never lifts trucks. Just google your area and find a shop

how do you measure the kit itself? Hard to explain exactly what I mean but does that puck measure out to 2.25 or do the bolts have something to do with the lift too?

Is it a good idea to replace the upper control arms? Or any other factory components ? I want to install this kit but don’t want to wear out factory parts

I had mine dealer installed when i bought my truck. It doesnt even void the factory warranty so you should be fine any higher you might want to then of course you have your cv to worry about too. But it’ll definitely wear out parts faster no matter what anything will. Its just a how fast its wearing not if it will or not
