THE MOST ASKED QUESTION ON THE CHANNEL - "Where do you get the ramps from?
They were purchased from Toys R Us over 8 years ago. They are Ten Eighty Skate Ramps, the Kryptonics Edition. Came with the two ramps and a table top. I don't think you will be able to find it new but it may be available on the secondary markets.

The Max Slash is performing great, looks like it stay planted in the turns especially while on throttle. The power slides are insane great run sorry that it ended with that mesh issue. Great first run.

Mmmmmmm, nah. I'm good on this RC. I know you said you cant compare it to the Mojave 6s, but IF you did, the mojave takes this all day. The Mojave 6S EXB is probably one of the best SCT bashers ever built. This cant compete with it. I really really wanted to like this thing.

Does this truck have enough suspension travel/droop? Because it doesn’t look like it.

@hashimrahman51 Suspension travel is fine. Me moving the lower shock position would give it the look and the effect in the jumps. I want to put another pack in the truck before diving into the shocks but I think I may have something for it. On a separate note, I would have liked to see the sway bars come stock on this truck. That's been the standard at this price point.

@jagergerg9771 I'm way too early in my process to discuss value. I like to put a few packs in before jumping into it. But if I'm following Traxxas sales model, typically RC's that share the same chassis style tend to be priced at or around the same price. I could see the bump for the 6s system but something closer to the Maxx pricing would have been nice.

Mojave 4s vs maxxslash ?

@xavraymond That was the plan until I ran this truck. Doesn't fell like a good comparison to either Mojave. This feels like a Monster SCT build. I've done a few with 10th scales and this reminds me of those builds. It drives heavy, mashes the surface, feels just like what a monster SCT should feel like. Not sure if that was Traxxas intension but that's what I got from it. I love it.

I wanted to like it because I love the Slash but I'm disappointed nonetheless. I have the Mojave 6s which is about the same size give or take. The new Maxx Slash fails to compete. The Mojave is just vicious compared to this and can take a hell of a beating. You're doing small jumps in this video. Not really pushing hard here. Everyone's expecting the sway bars to magically transform this rc but I wouldn't hold my breath. At $700 MSRP with the Mojave being $60 cheaper, it's kind of a letdown. Not a Traxxas hater per se but the company does give me the impression that they think they don't have to be competitive anymore because of the success of the XMaxx and Slash Ultimate.

@doofwop I've been in a vacuum and really have not been in the know about what is being said about this truck. I don't get caught up on the commentary. Not sure if you are new to the channel, but I own all three. Drive them and jump them all the same. For me I can't compare this to the Mojave's, for size yes but not the performance. I'm not sure if you've built a monster SCT but that's what this feels like. Traxxas has always released what the community has been building and we've been building monster SCT's for a bit now. My guess they decided to build an RTR.
