To be fair historically we have had over 264 tax raises since ww2. The problem with trickle down is that we don't have the same generousity we used to when reagan was the president. They used to fund schools, hospitals, food shelters, not just a few but a vast majority. Bill Gates donates alot because he understands that you truly do not need the vast sums of money that he makes and WANTS to help others. Reagan had the big Buyout where Japan was close to buy any factory in the USA while under Clinton german Motor Companies like BMW opened factories in the USA. Cold war era is NO excuse - same had Carter or Nixon. Both had economic growth without doubling the debts. A lot of lies in this video. Reagan did not preside over the fastest growing economy in history. In fact, since Inflation numbers began to be collected in 1914, Reagan only beat 1 democrat in inflation-adjusted growth per year. He narrowly edged out Jimmy Carter, who had to deal with OPEC and who drastically cut the money supply over his last year. Every other Republican has seen less growth under his term and every Democrat has seen more.
