Thank God for composite blades!

It shot the weighs used in the blades through the admin building shattering the Commanding officers window and computers. Along with traveling through multiple walls windows and even a microwave. I was the Duty stander standing in the corner of that building in the picture.

I remember this one. I have a friend in the CG and he would not give me any details on this crash. From what I understand the helicopter came out of maintenance and had a pilot and a non-pilot in the helicopter and may have done a dynamic roll over right on the ground. Has anyone been able to find the accident report for this one?

first 30 sec no sound... Appx 1:15 and 1:30... "discontinue", not "just continue
@VASAviation9 жыл бұрын
F Huber Hey Mr.Huber! The first 30 secs was only to picture the situation. Where the chopper was flying and where it went down. I corrected what you said. I misunderstood that! :)
@markpokorny8187 жыл бұрын
That's exactly why "cancel approach" or "go around" should've been used there instead. 😉

Ok, so uhmm at 2:51 is that a command vehicle?? Why would there be one?? Just asking....
@QuackDasquack7 жыл бұрын
I've watched a lot of your videos and noticed that your transcriptions are inaccurate a great deal of the time. In this video the controller is clearly telling pilots to discontinue their approaches but your subtitle shows "just continue" instead.

QuackDasquack I don't think he's a native English speaker. Some of the videos of him flying he appears to be Spanish. He's certainly doing a better job than I could translating Spanish

+Ruger Dern Here is the story. CHULA VISTA - A Chula Vista firefighter arrested while trying to aid victims. Engineer Jacob Gregoire was handcuffed and placed in the rear seat of a CHP cruiser after he refused to move his fire truck, which was parked in the center divider of Interstate 805 on the night of Feb. 4. The truck was partially blocking the lane closest to the divider to protect ambulance crews working to aid two people injured when a Mustang hit a cement barrier and rolled over, according to Chula Vista Fire Department officials.

If they can't do it while practicing maneuvers do you expect them to execute during real life stressful situations?

You've obviously never heard of 'maintain competency' ya know including the 90 day rule.
@Jdinrbfidndifofkdndjoflfndjdk2 жыл бұрын
It's part of it. You need to practice, imagine trying to rescue people and this happens ? I'm sure the pilot will learn from this.
