One of the worst jobs for an aircraft mechanic. The forward windows have nearly 100 bolts, washers and nuts, sealant, and wiring. You have to work from both the inside and the outside of the plane, a forward window sometimes requires removing the glare-shield (the dashboard) and upper avionics, and you have to shove your hand into very tight spots with little-bitty hardware without dropping it and spending 3 hours retrieving it. I've changed close to a dozen in my days and loathed every one.
