Beautiful playing of a beautiful bass. I followed your earlier lessons - circle of fourths one finger per fret - particularly enjoyed when you son and students demonstrated their talents. Moving to fretless was so much easier because of this. Thanks ... And mine don't have not lines - just dots. Because I didn't know any better I play to the dot on that one and tuned it over 2 octaves like that. When I got a 5 string with lines I played to the lines. Seems to work for me. As you state the muscle memory takes care.

Professore, glad to see you alive & well in this new year. I constantly ask myself in continuous self scrutiny “So what are you practicing these days?” Now I wonder what old Maestro could have taught such discipline back in the old days? #StinnettMusic

An unlined fretless would have provided more insight... still great though!

You have to do this without looking at your fingers. It’s pointless otherwise.
