A very enjoyable 40 minutes. A very sharp dude. I need to brush up on my Complexity Theory... (ie. Wikipedia that shit.)

I think if you want to "brush up" on your complexity theory you will need a few years of theoretical Physics and rigorous mathematics. Rickards stated that he studied for 5 years....

John Ritthaler Settle down, Ritthaler. The last part of my comment was a dead giveaway that it was a joke... Besides, I don't have time for complexity theory between teaching Chaos Theory at MIT and helping NASA with their jet propulsion systems... (That was also a joke, John. Put your hands down...)

Great interview. I'm just wondering how the guy at the drafting table behind Jim is doing with his crossword puzzle.

I thought he was an illustrator drawing the illustration of Rickards/McCullough that was used at the beginning of the video.

Good interview. Would have been a much better interview if Keith would have just let Jim talk. The numerous interruptions really became annoying.

I love how Rickards nonchalantly talks about dollar/euro swaps in the "tens of trillions of dollars" and then states there is only about 35 thousand tonnes of gold on the earth.

Love this show, but McCullough has got to stop interrupting his guests. They are who I want to hear not him. He also needs to learn when it's appropriate to interrupt. He always catches the guest in mid-thought like a waiter asking you how is everything when you just take a bite. Just saying.
