So the problem with this specific first call-out is we do pull people out at gunpoint and don't screw around and find out. The developer's need to know this information for future updates

The devs should ask real police about how actions work for an assault. Like you said, "this is how you would actually handle an armed and dangerous suspect" with gun out. I hope they see this.

Something funny I noticed in this game. You used to be able to cuff a drunk driver, and also give them a drug test, while cuffed. I wonder why they changed it?

Yeah, try arresting the drug dealers and the buyers. The game doesn't like that either. I've watched them buy drugs, watched them sell drugs, pointed my laser to keep them both from running, and the game tells me I aimed at an innocent person.

As a suggestion, how about an episode where you just do random stuff? Take the first call out you get and handle it. If you see a smoking tail pipe, pull ‘em over and give ‘em a ticket. Just let everything happen like it would in IRL, and don’t look for anything specific.

I have thought about that. The problem is the call volume is SO high in this game you would never be able to do anuthing outside of respond to calls

I managed 11000 shift points over an 8 hour open patrol in batches. You can balance out the cp with sp. When the drivers run too far from their car the vehicle prompts disappear. It's actually an annoying issue, in my opinion.

I'm not a cop yet. Well, I have no confidence ill even get to be a cop anymore. But that point deduction kinda makes no sense, isn't that policy everywhere in the u.s? When someone is a danger or runs from police don't cops just pull the suspect out at gunpoint?

depends policing is diffrent from every agency with policy. with where i am I don't think I would conduct a felony stop for someone wanted on assault charges.
