I mean...as someone who is dealing with trauma (Army medic) a lot, the first thing for gunshot wound is definitely tourniquet, combat gauze, put pressure on the wound right away, or anything that stops the bleeding or at least slows it down. Other than that, IV is definitely a must to prevent low bp and shock.

frieza the nonce destroyer it’s not that they can’t they certainly can. The only problem is it’s impractical. A tree isn’t a rigid body object, so when it hits something they can get away with it only breaking and falling down as a rigid object. But trees aren’t rigid they are elastic enough that branches will bend and the amount of processing power to compute that simulation is just ridiculous to be used in a game because doing so would eliminate over 99% of the gamer population. So yeah they can do it but should they? No they never would.

Milø your it could be done yes but it’d take several hours to days. And obviously I’m exaggerating in saying 99%. I mean come on. Also, not complicated? Really? Realistically simulating the physics of a tree with dozens to a hundreds of branches, with thousands of leaves, and computing how each branch reacts to falling and bending due to the surface it touches and due to their unique state compared to other branches and accounting for how it would react to that surface is an extremely intensive simulation. Add onto that the rigidity and elasticity and how that varies for each point of the tree and how light and shadow would interact with said tree then what you have is a simulation that cannot be feasibly done in a game. Also one thing yes you can run it server side but let’s be honest the servers running a sim that extensive would instead ruin the experience for all players since it would lead to lag and overall ruin the multiplayer experience.

Or semi-realistic injuries i.e, get shot/slashed and bleed for a bit plus lose stamina AND be crippled AND become disoriented. Car crashes would have similar consequences to getting drunk (staggered and slowed movement, impaired aim and driving ability). Failing Parachuting and surviving would leave you on the ground unable to move for a while. It would be interesting but not very entertaining. RDR2 has a spot of realism in that regard when Arthur's lost his health bar and gets shot or stabbed again, actually recoiling and staggering back when shot and just taking a knife in the back or gut when someone stabs him

Maybe not, because doctors also decide a degree of treating an injury/illness. Paramedics also won't turn "roosters" on (that's, how sirens are called in Poland), if a guy has simple leg break. If it's open break, ok, they will rush, but my friend had a situation, where his grandpa was waiting nearly an hour, because he fell off a ladder and broke his leg.
