Welcome to another Doctor Reacts to Grey's Anatomy video! This is PART FOUR of the AFTERMATH to the plane crash (Season 9 Episode 1 - Going, Going, Gone). It's the first day of intern year and Dr Meredith Grey's first day as a senior resident. Derek Shephard has had nerve repair surgery in his arm by Dr. Torres - does he recover fully? How does Dr Christina Yang like the Mayo Clinic? We find out in this episode! We also cover various medical education topics in this episodes such as informed consent, median nerve anatomy, and spine trauma.
We review some real anatomy and pathophysiology throughout this video. If you love medical dramas and medicine, you're in the right place!
Why do I love doing these Greys Anatomy reaction videos? I've really been inspired by Doctor Mike who does incredible teaching in his doctor reaction videos. I've also been inspired by medical videos from Violin MD, Dr Kristina Braly, Doctor Mama Jones and Dr Hope Sick Notes. And Doctor Reacts videos are a great method for teaching various medical topics and I'm definitely hooked on doing these medical drama reviews.
