There's a lot of people that claim that, but of course none of them can tell if a wifi router is on or not if you disable the LED. Even more fun in one study from a few years ago they made the LEDs independent of the router, showed they could turn the router on/off from another room(actually just the LED), then asked them to describe their symptoms every 15 minutes while in the room where they turned the LED on/off every so often while they were all randomly assigned the wifi on/off for the entire time. Turns out not a aingle person they tested was consistent to the wifi state, they were at best reporting sysptoms when the LED was on and not when it was off, even though the wifi was consistently one state through their entire time.

Ahhh yes Steele is using a image modified from a paper called "Mortality by neoplasia and cellular telephone base stations in the Belo Horizonte municipality, Minas Gerais state, Brazil" Fig 15. on page 15. from 2011. Which doesn't seem to factor in other effects of dense population or other environmental factors.

Chris raised a relevant point about RF exposure and the inverse square law that Mark prattles on about. It is not the tower you should be worried about it the phone you hold to your head. More towers and more antenna gain in the tower antennas allows your phone to use less RF power.

The technology now is active beam forming / beam steering works, it uses a large number of phase controllable antennae and the phase shift is changed to steer the beam. They have been in use for satcoms and radar for over 40 years. Chris was mixing up this with high gain fixed direction antennae, AKA Yagi antennae

I don't think Mark understands the figures he shows. He claims 0.25% of the population under 100m with die, but my work's HQ has one on the roof, and there's over 900 people working there full time. By his metric 2 people should be dead from tumours caused by exposure, and a lot more seriously ill. You'd think that'd be big news in the company, the last time someone was hospitalised(car accident) we had a get well soon card circulated and managers were told to allow people time off work if they wanted to visit them. It's so weird that no one has heard anything about these serious health issues before in a health software company. I guess it muat just be a big coverup, certainly couldn't just be the case that he's lying.

@@RaynardWilson0 It's a property of antennae with non-unity gain, the energy density in the near field has peaks and troughs, but in the far field, these are smoothed out giving uniform energy density. If you measure the field strength close to an antenna, you will get erroneous readings. The near field distance is dependent on antenna size and operating frequency.

That device, that looks much like the Sound Level Meter we use at work for determining is our work area is safe exposure for humans. The numbers are similar to the 'Sound level' not the dB level. Mostly an arbitrary number then a scientific number. I have, when I was working for a cell phone company measured the signal 'you can't measure' several times and as an interesting side note here If you open the Android to the ability for the SDK part of the OS there is a tool that will allow the user to see the RF signal data (RSSI and things like that) on the phone. Or at least at one time you could do this. Funny thing here the self professed 'unknown drip under pressure mark steele' (expert) has said Nothing correct at all in this little useless lie set he has produced. LOL Peace
