Well,there's the theory that Skid's dad soul is in the mannequin because it always moves in the right places,like when he was in the way of Lila and Bob when he tried to kill her,and when he falled over on the Happy Fella doll when he tried to stab Lila and the kids. In this episode he was even right in front of the door of the antic when the burglars tried to escape. So maybe he also can control the giant spider. That would explain why it grabbed the mannequin in the final scene. Maybe he was returning in his prime body?

Something I just realized, with all the hints that the Spider is connected to Eyes somehow, the cult may have only let the thieves off the hook because they realized what the implications of the Spider spotting them were. I think I got it. The thieves keep robbing Skid's house because they're looking for the Ouija board in the attic. It can actually summon demons. And the reason the mannequin keeps moving back into place is because the spider keeps returning it. The father's still there, he's just bound to the attic, since there was also a pair of eyes in a bucket next to the mannequin when it fell, and those moved. He's not just the spider, he's the entire attic
