Fun Fact: Moloch is a real demonic entity from old Jewish folklore. People used to sacrifice their firstborn children to him by igniting the interior of Moloch's statue/furnace and burning them inside of it. It became such a problem that according to the Bible it came to a point where they had to make a law to stone anyone they found doing this. The fact that Moloch in this animation is a furnace demon is as accurate as it is scary. Happy Spooky Month Everybody :)

The priest has become my favorite character from this series. He's stern and blatant, but he seems to genuinely want people to be good. It warmed my heart everytime he told the kids "I will follow." He lets them lead so they can take the initiative to gain forgiveness. When it's not used in a creepy context, it's comforting that someone is nearby to help them. I can only hope he'll be ok after being confronted by the cult.

Father Gregor is actually weirdly really cool. Normally the priest characters in horror stories are insane, either being elitist and condemning everyone or mistaking the monster for the true god. But Gregor is actually just a genuinely good man who wants to help people. He's a little old fashioned, but I can't help but like the guy.

It wasn't just this occasion. In episode 2, her first reaction to seeing them after a home invasion in the middle of the night was "Hey kids, where ya been?" In episode 3, she sent Skid to play with Pump when she was too busy trying to call an exterminator for the "rat" she could've dealt with herself. In episode 5, she let the kids go trick-or-treating completely unsupervised. And of course, in just about every episode, she has no issues with the two going out alone by themselves at night.

Gotta love how we see both perspectives here. She just wanted to relax this time cause her life has been really stress inducing. Murderers, weirdos, burglars, living dolls lusting for blood... ALL of that. And this time she returns home only to be met with her kid (and Pump) crying and some random priest scolding her for being an irresponsible mother. That's a huge punch in the gut. I think father Gregor only assumed certain things (like her drinking regularly which we know isn't the truth).

I MUST KNOW 👹👹👹👹👹 I love how much depth Skid and Pump actually have now. They show real emotion besides being silly little gremlins, and it's heartbreaking to see how they react when anyone talks about their parents. It's really sad to see the poor kids, especially how trusting and naive they can be, too. They cried after their "friend" died even though he was trying to steal theirs souls 😭😭😭 I love them sm. And Father Gregor was a really good priest. He was dedicated and amazing until the very end. 🥺🥺🥺 Edit- I just noticed that during the end credits, On the left, right next to moloch, The Mannequin is standing there 😨😨

OH MY GOSH YOUR RIGHT! Who do you think the mannequin's spirit is. I think its Skid's Dad, because if you look at the torn picture of Lila and her husband, if you look on his finger... YOU CAN SEE A GOLD RING! And at the spooky house on the hill, you can see a GOLD RING! (But now he has another ring on his pointer finger so that means he's now married to someone else. which means that Lila and him divorced.) So he got a new wife and a new life. Let me explain. While him and Lila divorced. They hated each other ever since. Thats why EVERY SINGLE PICTURE in Lilas house is torn and it doesn't show his face. And- (I'm going to name Skid's Dad: Andy, instead of Skid's Dad for the rest of this.) And Andy was so sad and mad that he became a new man. He shaved his head, Got a new wife and a new house, divorced his new wife, became old, and now just became a creepy old man. It was so long that he even forgot his own son. Thats why he has no reaction when he sees Skid and Pump. And he was so scared of the eyes of the universe that he ran out and died from being trampled by the eyes of the universe. And from his evil deeds he went to Hell. Thats why he's right beside the moloch. As we see him as a mannequin through out the episodes he wishes he never did what he did and watches his wife and son play. And as Lila is getting chased by demons, scary dolls, cannibalistic murderers, and more demons... He try's to protect his wife by getting in their way... Phew... That was a long story.

@JaggerDraws ooohhhhh... That's a really good theory, but in my head, that ring that Andy has is actually a cult ring. When we got to see Roy's Mom, Carmen, she actually had a cult necklace on that changes colors depending on who she is talking to. When talking to Kevin, it was white, meaning he had no affiliation with the cult, but when talking to Roy, it turned into that green color. Roy also stated that his uncle took him up to that haunted house where his eyes were. I think the bald man who got trampled was actually Roy's uncle. Also, When in the car with Carmen, Roy and his supposed father, while Carmen was in the car with them, she was sitting next to the man, but her necklace was white, meaning he isn't part of the cult and most likely has no knowledge of it. Remember the Candy dealer who is part of the cult? I'm pretty sure that he is Roy's dad. They have the same eyes, and both have sorta scratchy voices. I do think that skid's dad was definitely in the cult. I could even say that he could be the leader of it. In happy fella, there were 3 cult robes, a cult book, only one hood, and one of the everlasting life/immortality necklaces. We sorta know that Bob is Lila's dad. We also know for a fact that he is/was part of the cult. I think that Andy got not only Bob but Lila to join. I'm guessing that you have seen what Andy sort of looks like; exactly like skid. When skid and pump first meet eyes, pump gets possessed, pretty much instantly, while skid is completely fine, not even getting some sort of effect from eyes. In all of the episodes after, Eyes is constantly watching them, and he also granted pump the ability to sort of sense danger or be able to know when they are in danger. If Pump has powers that he got from eyes, Skid's dad, as the supposed leader, is the mannequin. I'm not saying that he is dead and possessed it, but he definitely has some type of plan for Skid. Eyes most definitely recognized Skid as Andy's kid and Andy has been protecting Skid this whole time, but also asked eyes to watch him too. I doubt that he means to do good with Skid and Pump's powers, most likely using them to grow the cult or spread it around the whole town. All I know is that Skid has a connection so strong that he is immune to e Eyes.

Honestly, I felt kinda bad for the Priest after he got that reaction from the kids when he exorcised Molluk back to hell, because they didn’t understand the danger of what Molluk was doing to everyone including themselves and genuinely thought he was their friend. And the Priest didn’t even take their anger personal, he just limped back to his church without even looking for thanks, despite his injuries. He was honestly a great character for real throughout the entire episode. I also like how this episode gave the boys actual character substance with relatable issues such as complicated parent and child dynamics. All in all this episode was a solid 10/10 in my book.

As a Christian myself, i can definitely say this is one of my favorite episodes by far. It feels so good to see a priest in a horror series that's not insane but a genuinely good man who wants people to be good. I also like the fact the he's not mad at the fact that skid and pump for celebrating Halloween but for actually conjuring a demon. But he also keeps in mind that they are just kids who needed guidance. I love it when a Christian/Priest is finally seen in a possive light. Thank you Sr Pelo And also,For everyone out there, Christians can celebrate Halloween. You can believe in god and still participate in Halloween fun. It's only sinful if you make that way. It all depends on the person.

Gregor just assumed that Lila was drunk all the time, and thought she left Skid alone in the street, when in reality she left him with Pump's sister (i don't remember her name), and she literally didn't do shit for securing them, she just stood in her room drawing whatever she was drawing, and the fact the spooky kids got out was merely her fault. On the other hand, why the hell is there a Ouija table on Lila's house to start with?

im sorry- but I gotta agree with the priest. Lila hasn’t put much attention towards her child that much through a bunch of episodes. She wouldn’t pay attention with her kid, UNTIL it was too far. The only time she actually *WAS* caught up with her child’s situation, was when she saw the red costume guy across the road. She understood what was up since the *START.* EDIT: sure, Lila is trying her best, but it’s obvious her best ISN’T good at all. She’s getting *drunk,* she’s not paying *attention,* and she is spending time with her friend instead of her *child.*

I think we also have to look at it from her perspective tho; Skid WANTS to hang out with Pump a lot which is a main reason he's also over at his house, and they're always out and about because they know everyone in that neighborhood and no one has said anything to Lila about Skid's behavior (and you'd think someone like Kevin would) so she'd, like most parents, would assume he's fine. She also leaves Pump's Sister in charge of them to WATCH them, and she's the main one ignoring them even after she was ASKED by Lila to just keep an eye on them knowing how they are (not to mention, Susie saying "oh he stepped outside" when asking about her grandpa 9/10 means he's not far or will be right back) so she has/had good reasons to leave Skid alone (with Pump) most of the episodes. Dude Father Gregor is a badass. I'm so happy you wrote him to be strict and orderly, but not to the point where he becomes a comical asshole. Making him brave and resourceful is something we don't get to see from a lot of religious figures in fiction these days. I'm an agnostic athiest myself, so I don't neccesarily have a horse in this race, but it's just really refreshing to see a fictional priest who isn't comically evil or a total coward.

I do love that the church and priest aren’t displayed in a negative light but isn’t portrayed as a perfect place/guy with no flaws. Father Gregor is human and rightfully calls out Lila for not watching her kid. I don’t think Pelo is religious so it’s nice to see him still respect other’s religions. Especially since the church is right, the holy water does work and Father Gregor successfully exorcized moloch multiple times. Good job Pelo, no notes.

I love Gregor's character depth- all throughout he is both an all-too-serious and judgy old man who is heavy-handed and too strict with the children, but when it comes down to it he very much genuinely cares about them and all his fellow man and is willing to risk his life and tank demon bites to protect the town and do his job. And we see at the end that he gets next to no appreciation for genuinely good advice to Lila. He's not a one-note character you can write off as all good or all bad, but the summation of all his best and worst traits is ultimately that he cares for others and is serious about his faith. Hope to see him resist Eyes's influence later and await rescue

Ultimately depressing episode in my opinion. The last part when Lila hugs Skid is just sad as they start crying. I also feel bad for Pump and Suzie. Their parents are gone/dead because Suzie sees that her granpa had a receipt in his pocket. Which means he actually just bought it and lied that the parensts actually had a gift for Pump and Suzie. Honestly this is my favorite episode out of all. Even though this came out 1 month ago. Keep the series going Pelo! I'm loving it! Also I like Gregor in this episode. While Father Gregor was rough in his approach, you could really tell he genuinely wanted to help and protect the kids, even if Skid and Pump took the message he was trying to give the wrong way a bit, partially his own fault for being so blunt and unmoving. He doesn't have the social grace, the demeanor, or tact to talk to kids about this sort of thing in a way that really communicates what he wants to impart. He didn't even realize his guidence was a little too straightforward for ones as well meaning and innocent as Skid and Pump to get fully. Being kids, they thought they needed to be forgiven, else they wouldn't be loved by their parents or that bad things would happen, when all Father Gregor wanted was for them to behave so they wouldn't get hurt or worry their parents. He wanted them to apologize, and move on (words like "forgiveness" are really easy for a kid to latch onto and worry about). Father Gregor knows how sacred the bond between a parent and their child is and cares about it deeply himself and for them, and that's why he, albeit far too rigidly, stayed by their side to try and encourage them to be kinder and to help them build a better understanding of the world. While his approach may not be what works best for Skid and Pump, it was a lesson the kids had to learn eventually. Also, Lila 100% needed to hear that, and Father Gregor was probably the only one willing to say it so upfront. I really like Father Gregor and hope to see him again.

I think it implies that the eldritch god is divine? the end card shows the priest flying upwards where the eldritch god is while still holding onto his cross. also he kneeled down in awe infront of it. very interesting honestly.

@@jessesobel7448 its more so implied, especially with pumps blue eyes being a badge of sorts for it, he can see things other people cant, combine that with the odd amount of conveniences that usualy keep them out of harms way after there encounter with eyes, its certainly something to think about, but definitely not proven completely yet

I feel like the series has evolved from what was the perspective of the kids, to the reality of the situations. Like, the first episode was fast, simple, and withouth thought of "what could happen" at anything they do, just like a child's mind work, but the episodes are getting more and more deep and consistent with the possible consequences of whatever they do. It's like in each episode we are leaving the kid's perspective more and more, or the children are slowly realizing how bad things got since their "prank call"? Or since they summoned Moloch his evil demonic powers turned they cartoony world into an actual hell. Lol?? Also, why does Moloch ask Skid and Pump for permission to possess them?? Since he did to everyone else without a problem?? Do the kids have a mighty power or wth; or is it bc they summoned him? idk pls dont make fun of me

I really love how badass Father Gregor is. He really tried to get Skid and Pump to Not Be a Danger to Society for an episode, and make them apologise to the people they already bothered. I mean like, the guy saw a person, literally possessed by a freaking demon. Didn't panic, layed out the priorities - first get the children out of there. He even made sure that the kiddos would be safe with the police officers while he is gone. After that without any hesitation the man went right back in to the demon and started fighting it, not letting it speak nor do anything while he gets it out of the girl's body. Because the two dummies came back he really made sure to protect them, so they don't get hurt and the demon doesn't get to them. After Moloch literally broke through a wall and escaped, the guy with the same nonchalance went out Chasing him around town with no regard for his own safety, only for the safety of people around him. He was able to stay calm even when the demon babies bit him Multiple times in the leg, and made sure to get the demon out of them. And after all that, with a wounded leg he still chased Moloch into the attic and banished it from this world. He's like literally The most heroic person in the entire show.

Also I believe Father Gregor is relatively new in town which is why most of the residents don't recognize him. The town probably needed someone like Father Gregor in town, which is probably why the cult took him out. The mayor probably hired the two hobos to destroy the church after kidnapping Gregor. To also really add to what you said, Father Gregor after getting rid of Moloch didn't stick around to get praise, he went straight back to the church to heal himself up. As he probably figured his work in town was just starting.
