"whoever weaponize AI 1st" wait, so Arnold is correct, Skynet is inevitable?
@DerpMuse3 жыл бұрын
Yep, but the company cyberdyne that became sentient had the main function of the program to protect earth. It deemed humans a threat to the planet and decided to eradicate them. It was human error in the end that caused skynet to "turn on us". Hubris is generally always the reason for miscalculations of that magnitude. Anyone truly creating sentient computation would have the axioms of Isaac Asimov as the foundation. 3 Rules to prevent a skynet situation. First Law A robot may not injure a human being or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm. Second Law A robot must obey the orders given it by human beings except where such orders would conflict with the First Law. Third Law A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Law.

It's rather that we have a small idea of what might be wrong but we don't deal with it because of our field in engineering (such as Suspensions and Brakes engineers, Engines, and gearboxes) so therefore the person who owns the car must first know if the person they are going to assign the car to has knowledge in that field

an easier example of AI progression is the far more recent discovery of a Facebook AI. Two Chatbots were created that were not linked by anything except an internal server connection and the researchers at Facebook were seeing how they'd interact with each other. They weren't given any directives other than to negotiate with each other, not in any particular language either. And they developed their own short hand language to communicate with each othe. It was the AI Chatbots of Bob and Alice. Apparently it also happening with Musks AI system that was created by Google. An intelligence that isn't human that creates its own language and can communicate with others in that language and get a correct response that no human can understand. When you think that there's a reason why we have translators for every language on earth, you'll realise why this is so scary.

In most works of fiction that focus on the development of A.I. they are talking about what might happen if one gains self-awarenes, Age of Ultron being one of them with two different outcomes in the forms of Ultron and Vision. @@parychahal I've been looking at neural link again and it got me wondering. Could it be possible with years of research to use this chip to communicate like sending on a phone. A vidoe of you seeing it would shed more light into it.
