Hi Jennifer! This was a fascinating conversation, I liked it a lot 👍! Fantastic questions! You seem to have adapted very well to your new place to live! You guys have a good chance to learn Spanish now, perish the thought 😄! There are plenty of pros living in Costa Rica, safety, for instance. I'm watching this from southwest Finland (+1 C, cloudy, not raining). I learned that the weather in San Jose, Costa Rica is very pleasant from December to March-April. From May to November, it's warm, but it rains a lot. You're early birds and very active! It goes to show that pleasant weather and light do wonders! I'm a bit sleepyhead. I usually get up around 7-8 am. No addresses in Costa Rica, that's funny-peculiar detail! Costa Rica is famous for its coffee, and when it's locally made nearby it must be yummy! I remember when I was on vacation in Vietnam, local coffee and tropical fruits were out of this world, much better than those bought in Western supermarkets! I always make a point to taste different kinds of local foods whenever I'm on vacation abroad. As for taking cats with you, there was pretty much red tape. Costa Rica has a very lush vegetation and I found out that they take nature protection very seriously, being one of the trailblazers in the world. I raise my hat on that, well done! If I were in your shoes, I'd escape Canadian winter too! It's freezing out there in winter!

@@JForrestEnglish The weather is very hot and the sunshine is very strong in Costa Rica, I travelled to Costa Rica about 20 days ago, don’t forget put some sunscreen on your face and body before you go outside or go to beach. It’s the first time I have learned that South America and Central America countries are all Spanish speaking countries.
