Thank you, Luca and Jennifer! This was an amazing video as always you do! I will share it with my colleagues and friends that learn English. I am sorry, but well, if you can do a video about it I would be so much happy, it's, kind of I think I speak so slowly. I would like to know if it's normal and if don't, how can I change this? I am an intermediate English Speaker and i think my speech is so dragged, you know? Is it just a particularity of my accent or it is something bad? Hope you both read this comment, I love you so much! Bye @Lucalampariello @JForrestEnglish Thank you again!

Yep, and I've seen some people teaching on the Internet and making jokes about other's pronunciation or grammar, which boosts even more that fear. The other thing is I got a C1 in Listening comprehension but a B2 in speaking, and even when I've taken more classes I haven't seen any improvement, I'm convinced, It's not about learning more is about practicing, I don't really need a C1 in speaking and I need is a fluent B2+

Hi Jennifer and Luca! Thanks a lot for this fascinating lesson! Way back when I was at school in the '80s and the early and mid '90s, the Internet was in its infancy. Studying was as dry as dust without modern technology. Mainly, we just went through different kinds of exercises in our exercise book. The Internet is a powerful tool for learning a foreign language, English, for example. Once in a while, I have had a chance to do customer service in English. I take it as a positive challenge. I make mistakes, but I can get my message across and help the customer. I don't let my mistakes bother me too much. I really liked this lesson, it was like a breath of fresh air!

Regarding the resources to learn a foreign language, English is actually the best one to be learnt because it's easy and there're unlimited resources from dictionaries to websites and KZbin channels to learn it. And theoretically one can be better even then a native speaker because you can learn vocabularies and expressions that even natives don't know. The only problem is that it is hard to be as fluent as natives when speaking.

Absolutely, English is super accessible with all those resources out there! Sure, sounding like a native is tough, but hey, it’s all about practice and finding your groove.

Many Europeans are polyglots because most European languages are closely related and some are highly mutually intelligible by default! Almost each nationality retains its own sovereignty and that contributes to the numbers. Romance language users tend to struggle with speaking English a bit more, but speakers of Germanic languages speak very very good English, sometimes could rival native speakers in terms of good grammar!
