Once again, I am amazed by the transformative powers of the right kind of guidance and tools. What these families have achieved is tremendous. Lisa's commitment to change her own behavior for those three beautiful little boys showed such strength! I was rooting for her all week!

I hope when Max starts school he gets an experienced teacher who'll know exactly how to deal with his behaviour. A recently graduated teacher won't do for a child like this. He will probably be on the receiving end of some hurtful comments from his peers if he doesn't toughen up. Sad but true.

You're so right. And I saw Tina take short cuts like spoon feeding some of her rice to Max while dad was in the kitchen so Max could get his yogurt and accepting Max moving carrots to dad's plate when that had already been accomplished. Even dad suggested that wasn't good enough. That last time out Max did not acknowledge that he wanted to go paint and Tina carried him out when she had been advised not to do that, to take his hand and walk instead. So hopefully when they arrived home where there's no cameras the crown didn't go back on Max's head.

I’m a 30 yr teacher, and I have seen many amazingly effective new teachers and some not as good, just phoning it in older ones. Age and experience don’t mean as much as you think. Some people are born to be teachers.

Poor Tanya in her meeting with Lisa is speaking like the fast forward is on 1X so she can express what she has to before the "yeah", "uh huh" and "I knows" which can be every second from Lisa. I expect a few friends and family will tease Lisa when she returns home about it.

Ya Lisa gets a lot of comments not so positive but she has high strung little boys, she does realize how precious her older son is and she wants to make it work. She's a smart lady and I believe she likely had much success after she left the house.

High schools and colleges of all types should have mandatory classes on basic human psychology and related topics/resources, and proper nutritional knowledge for men, women and children. If anyone ever says that raising children is easy, they should watch this series!! It's never easy!! But very rewarding in so many ways.

The little boy that never heard no parents clearly haven’t learned that much cause he should have had to sit there with his dad and the little boy cause being taken away and distracted by his mom cause they didn’t want to tell him no and make him deal with not getting his way about turning the pages.

I swear I can’t stand the little boys mother she still is not wanting him to hear no or punish him for anything. He hit the little boy when they were chasing each other and the boy dragged him to the ground and he got up and kicked and hit the lil boy and instead of punishing him she picked him up and seemed mad at the other little boy. It’s so annoying I could definitely go without her in this season.

I have Asperger's and i write children's books. I can 100% see that Max's "tantrum" 22:38 with the paint wasn't a tantrum at all - it was a sensory meltdown that was triggered by sensory defensiveness by rough handling + the clothes were a specific material - a sensory meltdown is an autism & asperger's reaction to sensory overload which feels incredibly excruciating to a person, and then he had a sensory meltdown after that happened.

Attagirl Roberta! You are so right. When a child misbehaves, it's the parents responsibility to correct the inappropriate behavior. Picking that child up and pacifying him or her while giving into every whiny demand is not how its done.

Could Max have sensory issues, maybe? Someone thought he seemed autistic, because of how rigid he was on the show and the mess thing. The mess aversion makes me wonder about sensory issues myself. I wonder how she'd deal with a kid who's autistic or afraid of the dark. I know someone who's not a kid and afraid of the dark.

You know what I realize , if they don’t fix their kids temper tantrums and their selfishness , once they get to school they will be bullied, made fun of and ignored . No kids will like them . So it’s better they learn now . I remember in school annoying g kids that cried and whined were always made fun of . It’s unfortunate but it’s life . Better your kid acts normal and has a good life .

Sadly, the Bailey boys and their Mum will slip right back into their chaotic and violent routine. Those boys have been raised like a pack of wild animas and mum has no patience to change. Little Max did not disappoint this episode. He continued his shrill squawking reminding the house mates and us that he is still in control of mum and dad. He’s going to be 12 years old kissing carrots from his school lunch in front of his peers.
@marylyn66
@marylyn66 2 жыл бұрын
I hope Max still isn't kissing carrots when he's 12. When the main issue is the parents mollycoddle the child on every level, they cannot undo the bad habits and behavior their child exhibits because they are completely incapable of seeing the harm they've caused. Max will likely be a picky eater but once in school hopefully he will try foods other children are eating. School - this is where I see little Max having problems. He didn't appear to get on well with other children. His behavior over looking at a book or even the Yes and No exchange with one of the twins at the dining table, anything where he isn't getting his way and his favorite form of communication starts. Whine whine whine with mom & dad looking at him with that Oh isn't he just darling expression. Yup mollycoddled.

In looking at most of these behaviors in children, I've seen many of mothers are extremely overweight. Women who have their own personal problems will always have behavior problems not handling their children. They need to work on what is deeply seated in their own lives

I think the mom and dad of max didnt learn anything... they are going to do the old things when they are at home ... Max is a bratt and mom thinks he is her baby forever... They are not going to change. And will spoonfeed him again with yogurt... I really really really dislike max he is so controling and not because he gas a disability but because he is a bratt... And mom yuk.. The mom and dad of the girl... they had some difficult things in life and projected theyre feelings on to her (not on purpose) I really hope the progress will go better and better. she is a nice girl... and deserve her parents They need counseling alot and need help to learn things... The momof te 4 kids she is brave. Yes she was negatif at the beginning. That was because she was mentally and phycally tired... Now she have new energy and sees that how she behaves and reactes is how they behave...
