Children's Books Read Aloud Exactly. Every child deserves to be loved and feel safe always. I find it severely disturbing when I hear that a parent has abused their baby. These parents love their children very much. God Bless you and please stay safe during this scary time.

I gave a kidney to my dad. He was a good dad, not perfect, but always there for me. I wanted him to know that I’m thankful and lucky to have a dad that I did.♥️🌈

I had my first kidney transplant in TORONTO's SICK KIDS's HOSPITAL as well but I was able to hold on a few years til I was 16. I was on dialysis for a short time that time around. Kept that transplanted kidney til I was 27. It was a perfect match. I hope this time around I get a perfect match as I hear they last 30 years now.

Here is an article I found on Kaitlyn. It’s from 2012 but it’s still 15ish years after the accident so it’s a pretty good update ❤️ www.ottawacitizen.com/health/brain+injured+student+succeeds+with+direct+approach/7317041/story.html

Like 2000 or 2001 is when I first saw it (the show was on Discovery Health Channel in the late 90s and early 2000s. I just saw about Kaitlyn that someone posted on here. She was 18 as of that article, which was from 2012, and she was 4 when it happened. This episode was filmed in like 1999). I remember watching this show every weekday morning before I left to catch the bus for school.

I used to have operations as a small child and painful medical procedures. Why wasn’t the mum allowed to be in the room when her son was put to sleep. In the uk the parents are allowed to be in the same room when thier son or daughter are put under general anaesthetic

I agree parents with very young children should go to the anesetic room because it's scary for the poor kids and parents having operations and medical procedures.i have even seen adults be accompanied to the anesetic room before on other hospital shows.

It’s mean to poke children. They can make it very numb or put them very sleepy first.
@Animallover2011ful

I'm the same way with needles. I have to be sedated fully no numbing works. As I have a phobia of needles to the point where I am a tad hostile as an adult. I've tried every method of getting over it. It's definitely not ideal to poke a kid or anyone with a fear of needles.
