I got this in the 80's and I was obsessed with GB's! I use to ride around my neighborhood with the proton pack toy on my back. Later on I got into GI Joe and this got ignored until I got into Star Trek -then it became Outpost 23 (a space station) and my GI Joes became Starfleet Officers. :)

Simply put one of the genuinely greatest toys to emerge from the 80's. The firehouse was always cool in the movies and cartoon but it was this playset I think that truly seared it into fan's hearts forever. It returns in the brand new Ghostbusters movie (with the new team inheriting it in the very final scene). In a film featuring new proton packs, ghost traps and Ecto 1 I am thrilled the firehouse was chosen to stay on for the new team and generation of fans. It might be time then to update this playset in this scale with brand new features for this generation.

Is that goo stuff easy to wash off and can it be used again?

Its relatively easy to clean off on flat surfaces, the grates can be a little more challenging. The goo/slime/ooze can definitely be used again and again but it's important to keep it clean. If you store dirty ooze for an extended period of time it will get moldy and runny and you'll have to throw it out. The good news is that it's relatively easy and cheap to find at dollar stores, and failing that, it's super easy to make! My girls and I make batches of it every once in a while! Great review as always mate. The green slime is like the one you got with the TMNT Play set. when I got mine incomplete for 20p, the small railing was missing along with the doors, sign and trap. Took ages to find one, was e-mailing people on eBay and one guy I e-mailed said no but would look out for one if if found it. Then later that day he e-mailed me saying he had found it in his garden shed when not even looking for it, said I could have it for nothing I paid for the postage as a thank you. hardest parts were the doors and sign took ages to find them. Have you reviewed the TMNT Sewer and Technodrome?

This playset was released by Kenner in 1987, you can't get it at retail anymore. You would have to find it from a collector. You can try some Ghostbusters message boards or Ebay. Thanks for watching!
