the thing about this song is that every single verse literally describes my life in order. in ways it depresses me but i think of it as a way to shortly explain my life ^_^ but sometimes listening to the ending verse makes me think of her. sometimes makes me tear a little :(

I love in the documentary how Roger's voice sounds weak as they're rehearsing, then when they record he turns the clock back 30 years and roars like the beast he is. I believe he suffers from a chronic disease called "Bad-ass-itic."

Damn good song. An underrated one at that. The post John Entwistle era of the band has some good songs. This is definitely one of them. Endless Wire is a very good album. For me it's one that gets better with age.

It's about Pete and Roger as kids admiring and wanting to become Elvis the 'Rock God.' Roger did but Pete's parents said sorry you're 'too ugly.' It's a great song - very emotional and touching.

I abseloutley think Pete's songs have helped me deal with alot in thru my life, being ill and trying to deal with the frustrations it brings up ,while everyone is trying to get me to fucking meditate and be at one with nature(even though i know Townshend does that with his Mehar baba thing) and I want to get back on me motorbike ,get back playing Rock&roll with a band, yeah The Who , Pete, its fucking therapy thats what it is.
