Good Lord. you did five deployments as a marine were those like the crazy deployments that regular Marines do as in like 10 to 12 months because I did 5 deployments as a Third Battalion 75th Ranger Special Operations guy and we would only do like 3 to 4 months I think my longest was the surge in 2009 I was down there with you guys in the Helmand Province at Camp Bastion. I'm curious to how long you were in I was in for 7 years from 7 to right at the beginning of 2014 I got out medically discharged but let me say this I absolutely enjoyed the s*** out of working with your guys down there in Helmand. Thats Ephraim Matos and he runs an organization called STRONGHOLD RESCUE AND RELIEF. He is a former navy seal and he deploys himself and a select group of former special operators to go in and do these heroic acts without the firepower or backing of the US military. They are THAT courageous.That action took place on the road of death in bagdad. Isis was mowing down men women and children trying to flee the city for safety. He saw a 6 year old little girl trapped under her dead mother and knew she would die without their help. He got shot in the leg, which is why he fell but continued his mission successfully as there were no comms between them and the tank, forcing him to scramble to his feet. Ephraim and his amazingly brave teams are still out there doing this every day. Burma, Venezuela, Ukraine, and Israel are the main places of their deployments. Help them continue to be heroes,,if you can spare $5,, please.

Dave and his team are incredible to say the very least. He’s one of the most caring,humble, and well-spoken human beings I’ve ever met. Was lucky enough to have the opportunity to go along with him and his crew of volunteers on a mission during one of my documentary assignments in Karenni state,Myanmar. He and I had a nice chat while we were hiding in a ditch from a Y12 recon plane circling overhead. I was scared shitless and Dave was right next to me cool as a cucumber chatting to me about Texas (where I’m from) lol. Got to meet his wife and son Peter as well and they are equally as amazing. Yes, it is a great heroic story. He is a complete professional who carries the child he saved to the side facing the intense fire. In other words, he literally shields the child with his own body. What about the tank driver? He almost comes out on top of the wounded man and the soldiers with the tank.

I remember watching something about Navy seals telling the other navy seals to turn on the tv, to see one of therebold buddies, doing what hes doing in the specific clip...... He was saving children.

Mr. Ballen did a full video on this incident. That gentleman put everything on the line against isis in face of almost certain death to rescue a little girl. Even ended up taking a round himself in the process. That is a real Hero.
