I know this is a older video. But i bought a tool kit to remove those pesky bushings. It presses out the bushing rubber and all. Going to try it out on my 74 vette when i rebuild it.

Would seem to me, if the bushings are in such good shape and that hard to get aut, maybe they didn't need to be replaced.

Oh. My bushing were shot and definately needed to be replaced. I just decided to clean and repaint my control arms at the same time which slows the process down a bit. But it's a C3 and the cleaner the underside is, the better this car will be. It's a hobby and that's all part of enjoying the hobby.

Why bother at all with this old shit... Simply purchase and install a modern suspension retrofit and enjoy your C3 for once.

Those bushings come out very easily wth a proper bushing remover and installer. Your local auto parts store rents them out. Burning them out shows your inexperience.

Perzactly. This fellow demonstrates the sort of hack maintenance that makes a permanently shitty C3 suck that much more for the next schmuck who owns it.
