School buses have flashing red lights and a stop sign that folds out. You are required by law to stop 100 feet in front of or in back of any bus stopped to let off children.

In the states its illegal to pass a bus so its common to leave the kids in the middle of the road to cross and go home, it is unsafe but if a car is ever caught passing a bus even cops you can get a few years

The clip at 12:20ish of the off-duty cops went viral a few years ago. The cops were both off-duty and they were also husband and wife, out for a quiet meal. They were the only people in the restaurant as you can probably tell from the footage. I can't remember if they caught the robber or not, it was a couple years ago.

My former boss was married to a highway patrol officer. An 18-wheeler went out of control and squished him between the patrol car and the truck. His gun on his belt had to be extracted from his hip in surgery, and he was left in a wheelchair to this day with the indentation of his gun in his hip.

The 1 where they locked the robbers inside it wasn't passerbys that did it... the employees went next door to the next shop which had a door joining the 2 shops, and told the lady what was going on, then the employees went outside and locked the robbers n
