Hey good job Dave! I love your videos! I got a house with a leak on the first floor ceiling in dining room Upstairs is the bathtub in master. I haven't checked the overflow only cause they don't take baths. But that doesn't mean watwr doesn't drip through the overflow and into ceiling! I will fill bathtub up and check! All good checks like the plate being loose...I love learning from your videos...keep it up!

Hate water leaks. At our 3 floor complex. The second floor plan has both 2nd floor apt.tubs directly above 1st floor. Of course the tub and toilet of3rd floor is right over 2nd floor master bedroom- exactly where bed has to be. 😆 We finally started cutting 14”x14” holes in effected ceilings to have access going forward. Then put access panel in place Always going to need to get back at the drain. Often, when remove tub drain, new one won’t run/ thread down true,,as building gas settled/ shifted Aptrciate

Where does the water go when it's working properly and why does any water that gets behind the plate NOT go to the same place? It seems like there should be no way for the water to drip down.
