Do they ever pick the grooms mother? Her wedding was far more beautiful, when it comes to simplicity, and making the groom and bride the most important "piece" of the day. Groom's mom sure was a nice woman, taking the bs from the other mom. Hope the married couple will do all right.

3 of them had the groom's mother: the destination wedding with the fish barbecue,the "40's black,red,white theme,the Carribean vs. African theme. But I think this is the only one where the groom really swung the decision. Almost all them the bride made the final say, groom's mother or bride's mother.

I find myself liking these kinds of shows because it's such a study in personality types. I have people in my life that are exactly like some of the worst behaved people that are shown. When I read the comments from some of these shows it makes me realize that my feelings about certain behaviors are very valid and that no, these behaviors are not OK but are not exclusive to only the people that I have encountered.

It is the same scripted show every episode. Mom's don't get along. Gina comes in to save the day and the mother's come together and become best friends. Can the writers not think of something else. It is way too redundant.

Fire and ice??? Seriously?? It's awful!! Really bad decision just based on a color that is minimal on the color palette. And to be fair, the mother of the bride can be pushy but the mother of the groom is behaving like a baby, frittura di mare is very basic food in Italy for Christ sake, squid ink risotto and grilled octopus... it cannot get more traditional than that. And the other one wants Cheese burgers?? Seriously??? Is that a joke?. At least make a roast or something.

It makes me laugh… Every episode also goes like this… Mothers disagree, the person who has won the challenge then is told they need to give a bit of control up to the mother that is the assistant... So basically it's the same format each episode, and the mum that won isn't really in control

We enjoy many different cuisines, most all seafoods, tonight my 16 year old grandson and I had sushi, Niegri and Sashimi. He’s been eating all kinds of seafood since he was first start on foods because we used a food mill, to ensure he did not grow up with pedantic taste buds like yourself.

But to assume others won’t like it because you think you don’t, is extremely limiting. We’ve a,ways had the rule, you have to try it if you don’t like it you don’t have to eat it, but you don’t know until you try. The best wedding I went to, besides my own for food, was our nieces, he husband and father are caterers. Seafood galore, scallops, shrimp, halibut, etc, different stations throughout, anti pasta bar, and then sit down 5 course meal. And no chicken, roast beef, mashed potatoes nor green beans. Ours the same, two friends who are chefs, and everyone loved the food and once again, no boring mashed potatoes, green beans, chicken and roast beef.

I actually hated the centerpieces for this wedding. I love jewel tones but this was just not my cup of tea. I think the bride's mother was pretentious and aa bit of a show off and the food was probably good they tasted was not something that should be served at a wedding where people should at least be able to recognize what they are eating. While I would not serve burgers and fries at least people know what that is

10:45 I really like the first idea the most-- Christine's But of course with Kim's photo-bouquet to walk her down the aisle But seeing the preview, I know it just...mm. like I'd dispute the little girl part for Christine but I do Oo except the tiara, and--the parts that go on her The pinks would have to be replaced with something in a different color. Oh she loves peacock feathers good--glad it wasnt just her mother 20:22 _okay_ just "Just doesnt wanna be bothered" are you serious what Wh--the show has them do this right? They _have_ to because people don't... Like the first thing a person would do at least in my case is ask what parts she's actually saying no to. Would she prefer more subtle, less/no eye? Lip? I actually need to go back because idk what the major change was (That "she should be thankful--that I..." just doesn't...maybe I'm done with war vids for tonight. Hope the next isnt like this tho and people eventually act more normally

It amazes me that most of the mothers on this show refuse to work together, give a little here and take a little there to make it a wedding both can feel good about. Obviously this is the point of the show, put two mother in laws against each other but I always wonder why they fall for it. This is both their kids wedding, each both know their kids and their likes and dislikes so come together, set aside ego and muster up something that’s from both ladies! That’d mean a lot more to their kids than one’s vision over the others 🤦🏽‍♀️

She likes ballroom dancing and things "princessy", but doesn't like make-up and anything fancy. Not sure I understand... Glad the Moms got it together in the end!

Most people are not as sophisticated, classy and elegant as they think. But weddings arguably are about dreams and maybe being someone different - sounds like a contradciton. Ideally it is a best you but often you barely can recognize the bride and or groom on their wedding day. Yes, you can argue it is just their best "you" but ofteen you see people wearing clothes which they are not comfortable with. Gina seems to inflame conflict and drama. She firstly assumes conflict between mothers. Then she says may the best mother win - this is NOT about the best mom but rather a vision that is liked by the bride and groom. She then INSISTS the winning mom really keep to her vision rather than encourages compromise or listening to the "loser". So Gina is bringing the tv ratings - conflict.

This show always says that the children/bride and groom do not know that the mothers are listening to the chat about the presentatoins - yet surely they know the premise of this show. Ditto for Wait don't tell me tell your moms. This is so staged and sometimes the "acting" or mothers in particuar are a bit wooden in their "performances". You don't get a sense of Gina's wedding planning skills.

First, Ice inside & outside - not a good idea (carwfully said) Second, the food is extravagant nothing to do w elegant > the same to the decoration. Third, the wedding dress disaster - the bride has a very nice cleavage w/o putting decoration on top. Understanding that is a show BUT!! How about showing the friendly way instead of rude fighting. In every serie the "looser" run out at some meeting. It's a pity the *3 three* ladies didn't work more together. Only my simple opinon.
