You’ll sometimes here us mention the charity board, at the end of each video we see who got the most items, and whoever lost pays £3 to a charity.This year we decided to donate any money to , Rose Dawsons Owl sanctuary at Thirsk North Yorkshire , it’s our way of giving a little bit back to the countryside, while we do this hobby of metal detecting that we both love .

Thanks , the field next to it is where I found my gold ring and numerous hammered coins. It’s been planted with maize for the last three years but this year he will be giving it a deep plough so hopefully more will come to the surface.

Hi Maria, unfortunately sometimes the bushes are on the other side of the field and I'd pee myself by the time I got there lol much quicker to drive home unless Shane loses something 🤣🤣🤣

That could be it , it’s only quarter of a mile from a church now but we think there could have been a church back in the 12- 1300s
