Nice seeing one of these . I worked as a fitter in a quarry in the uk . The guy who ran the stone crushing plant went sick so I got sent over to run it for a few hours . It was a one man operation medium sized CAT shovel . I broke that nothing major burst pipe . So we borrowed the machine you have there from quarry over the lane . No problem it was just big . Next day boss says there’s a bloke coming to do your driving test . Oh yes I say . He says yes it will do you good haha So took my loading shovel test in one like that and passed with honors ……. I didn’t run him over . Did that “ temp job” for 6. Months enjoyed it too .

When you enter the toe of the pile… go in about 1/8th bucket and lift straight up and don’t curl yet. This squishes weight onto your front tires. Hit your dif lock and downshift if equipped. Then power into the pile while curling slowly and lifting at the same time. Sticky material may require a quick tilt forward and then back to get a full scoop but majority of materials will full load in my initial description. As long as the loader is healthy and functioning properly that is.

@Nick-sd7um17 күн бұрын
Aus phased out of imperial to metric over a number of years around 1970 to 1988. The older generation still regularly uses and prefers the imperial measurements (habit). Also we tend to still use imperial measurements for some stuff today just.. because.. like surfboards. The old bloke who I bought my 4wd off had his egt gauge in Fahrenheit. Gave me a scare when driving home thinking I was hitting 800 degree Celsius on the pyro haha.b

She has an exhaust leak, this means the turbo is not producing the correct amount of boost. Probably 20psi. But now down to half that amount producing ¼ less horsepower than when new. With a new manifold gasket she will take massive bucket fulls. She will last much longer than full boost but drink the same amount of fuel. Since she also has a leak on the injector she is using slightly less fuel maybe.
