Honestly with a decent amount of cgi touchups it would probably genuinely look pretty decent for a live action movie/show. So much less work than making a big cgi monstrosity so they could spend more time on the little details, much like Davy Jones from the Pirates Of the Caribbean movie where the vast majority of the work was able to be focused on the head because the body was practical. Awesome stuff.

No offense to JL but its not like these ideas Are pulled out of thin air & trying to make are physically "impossible" just needs creativity to make em work since most of it is already done in stunt work for movies. If u thought it was physically impossible because laws of physics work differently like in Frozone video , it is realistically impossible because u need the right weight to apply pressure on the body of water then freeze it else ur weight will drag u down while freezing. So if u have more volume of water then the time taken to freeze is longer , this is basic science. And you need temperature's close to absolute Zero which is achieveable in real life but only under certain conditions. I think it's a issue with u personally being a uncreative person who loves to exaggarate things.
