I bought Saint Seiya Myth Cloth Revival and they were legit. The issue is they don’t protect the figures and boxes arrive crumbled unless you ask them directly

I purchased the NECA SotO Ultimate Shredder from Ali and it was a legit one. It hit Ali before it hit Walmart in my area. From what I’ve seen if it’s hitting Ali around the same time as it’s releasing in the US it’s more than likely legit. If it’s an older figure or shows up years after release it’s probably a KO. Great video! Thanks for sharing your experience.

I don't mind a knockoff if I know they are super rare to get, and they look okay. I just purchased a neca figure for the Xeno from Alien Isolation. It's almost impossible to find an authentic one, or even a single one for that matter, as the game is 10 years old. However, my wife found one through a Chinese market called Taobao, and it's pretty well built, to be honest. I've had to order some Kiki joint liquid to stiffen some of its joints, but I'm very happy with the product.

Really good video Seth! I got some real TMNT NECA figs from Ali-Express, but I also got some knock-offs too. It's definitely 50-50 like Big Dub says... Those Rambo figures are still passable from shelf distance, but maybe you can get the real ones at shows/cons down the line for a deal... Again, great video for the masses!

I got all the Rambo figures knowing they are fake, I repainted the and they look better than necas, except the Rambo 2 figure, the face looks like he had a stroke as the mold is bad.

I've always had knockoff figures since I was a kid. DBZ, wrestling, Power Rangers, those were always easy to find at the Swap Meets in LA. First time I dabbled in knockoffs as an adult collector though, I bought a set of "Neca" Street Fighter IV figures -- Chun Li, Guile, Ryu, Ken, and Akuma. One of the hands on Ryu broke right away. Chun Li has the worst paint application and the worst face design. And, overall, the figures feel like they were carved from wood. Lol So happy that I started collecting Jada. And I'm happy with spending more for Storm. You really do "get what you paid for". Now, on AliExpress I've only ordered the Retro Spiderman. Good paint application on the figure, good card, but VERY loose torso and the head spins more than The Exorcist. Lol I like the fig though. Great for display and posing for pictures.

I've bought a few Neca figures and accessories from AliExpress, which turned out to be great. I bought Dracula, Phantom Of The Opera and Bride Of Frankenstein for £17 each which was awesome as they weren't even available in stores or our online stores here in the UK at the time. I do see some of the old Alien/Predator/Rambo ones which do make me question if I should or not, but like you said it's a 50-50 chance.

Yeah I bought machiko neca pred figure,paints horrible but I custom paint figs and repaint most of my figs. But,I did buy the mezco punisher figure and that I was impressed with which was bout 35ish quid. Loaded with ton of accessories and even if that too is a knock is a damn good one.
