Corrupt and shrewd selfish leadership in state and centre caused to create problems and disturbed the harmony of Punjab. Punjab faced tough times during two wars with Pakistan and in 80s. Growth was halted and expenditure was more than income. Now punjab is facing the problem of brain drain with vast resources. Punjab can’t earn with international trade because of strictly closed border without any trade opportunities. Industry is going to nearby hilly states because of the more incentives given by central government for these mountainous states. A lot of things are not working for Punjab, But we hope Punjab would grow towards more development and prosperity.
