Clapton does a song called "Wonderful Tonight" that is the song my wife and I danced to first. Great reaction. I have to go kiss my wife now. Oh yeah, this song is about Beatle George Harrison's wife, who he later married. Both are fantastic guitarists, though Eric is better.

One of the best performances by Clapton is his solo on Stephen Stills's "Go Back Home" (on the "Stephen Stills" album). This track is also one of the great musical masterpieces of all time. Stills, of Crosby Stills and Nash. Beautiful song. The whole album crushes.

This title came from a poem. Eric Clapton was good friends with George Harrison from the Beatles. Clapton fell in love with Georges wife at the time Patty Boyd. She eventually went on to divorce Harrison and marry Clapton but they also divorced when Clapton had a son with a model. Tragically Claptons young son feel out of a window in a NYC highrise as Clapton was on his way to take him to the zoo for the day. The song Tears In Heaven was written for his son. Patty Boyd inspired Clapton to not only write Layla but also a song called Wonderful Tonight.

Just be open and honest with your comments. As to whom is the GOAT..??. It is subjective to taste. I am a fan of both. This song was voted a few years back as the greatest love song of the century. HOOYAH

This is my first time to comment ever, in (idk) approximately the 3 years I've been watching reaction videos, I felt the need because I didn't see in the comments anywhere (btw, like the 5th time I've ever eveb looked at comments) that the two guitarists here where named in the Rolling Stones magazine's top 100 guitarists of all time. More specifically, I believe Clapton is No.2 behind Hendrix and one of the Allman Brothers is in top 10, Duane I think. Not the best repersentation of eithers ability. It's just my opinion. I'm still, after all these years, trying to figure out how they rated ahead of SRV.
