So many contributing factors that causes everyday stress: Horrible work/job environment with toxic coworkers! Poverty wage paying jobs! Poverty/Destitution! Sickness/Poor health! Homelessness! The death of a loved one! Depression! Financial Debt! Broken marriage/relationship! Bad-minded, jealous, and envious individuals trying to sabotage your life! Pray to God/Jah for guidance & protection, mercy & forgiveness, and healing, and overall blessings to make you better in all aspects of your daily life!

This dialogue was well needed. Stress is a silent killer. Stress will have your blood pressure through the roof. Sometimes we just have to zen out and not pay attention to society and its standards.

Blessings to you, Brothers, for bringing this topic to the forefront. Stress is a silent killer, for sure. The insidious role that corporate culture and social media plays shouldn't be ignored. I appreciate your suggestions to establish and maintain wellness despite the stressors ✊🏾🖤

I agree that most people get about two hours of actual work done during a 8 hour shift. In fact a lot of people listen to podcasts while working which further proves that point. I can see a solution being corporations that have automated systems in place receive a subsidy from our government to be able to pay workers the same wage for half of the time. If we have money for wars that don’t involve us then we have money to accomplish this. Maybe then we would be so upset at our government.

They still won't. An organisations aim is to make more money 💰

@@Saasoriessentially they will make the same money. If no one is actually working while they are there then no products are being made anyway.

It's more about control. They are still making the money. Think deeper. What would happen if the mass had more time away from work @@Saasori

2 hrs of work in an 8 hour shift.?! That’s crazy. No wonder I hate having employees. Most days I feel like I trying to get 12 hours done in an 8 hour shift. Work hard for what you believe in

I think there's a mix of both often. But also there's difefrent reasons for both. One reason i find I can only get 2 hours done in 8 is because my job is a messy and waiting for managers to make up thier minds can take weeks ahahaa. But also some people don't count meetings as work, or meetings take up too much time. I had another job that every Tuesday I often had 4-5 hours of meetings plus lunch, so only 1 hour to do action!

The 4 day work week, if implemented, may 10-12 hrs/day.

If the 40 hour work week was created as a standard model for workplace productivity prior to the technological advances one would reason that standard should be recalibrated to align with the technological and human resource advancement. Instead companies are forcing an out dated standard that no longer matches output. Collectively we should advocate for a reassessment instead of just blindly agreeing 40 is still relevant. Peace to everyone on these last few days of 2024! May we find ways to destress.
