Well many economic decisions are not bearing fruit like demonetisation. GST is still questionable to count as an achievement because there is still a massive tussle between the states and the centre over tax allocations. Also, it's not that India's foreign policy was vague before Jaishankar. Think of digital India!! How manu of you could have afforded a 1GB internet even for a month?? Can you think of a time youtube was available for youths in your poor state and villages? Connectivity??? No right!! Revolutions happen who could have thought of UPI and Kissan saman nidhi? Now even UP is getting investments. It can be a electronic hub in future. Yogi and Modi all r humans. But more productive than any other popiticians they don' have any magic sticks its just their hardwork. With privatization and more policies for private investments miracles will happen in our countrt! Being a youth dont think that someone will spoonfeed your needs. Be ambitious!! With lot of industries and factorirs coming try getting good jon learn soft skill and also try many skill related courses. If ur saying there is no optical fiber connectivity, you wouldnt have able to even access internet from your state.

@@anooplal5798 This is a problem with being opinionated. Yogi hasn't reduced gundagardi per say, only the gundas have changed. Thakurs still are gundas and are given a safe haven by the Yogi government. About the bureaucracy, the number of seats in the UPSC have been decreasing every year. This year it dropped again and is no more than 700 seats. Contrary to this, India has one of the world's lowest population to civil servant ratio. Also only Adani and investors close to Yogi have been investing in the state. Tesla outright rejected UP's invitation to set up a factory. It is not very good for overall business. Now coming to the communal issue. There is a very broad line that separates violent Islamism from Islam. They are not the same. And destructive elements exist in all faiths. Even in Hinduism you have the Bajrang Dal which often takes part in mob lynchings. As a person from UP, let me give you my honest opinion. When it comes to reality the BJP government is rotting the very core of Indian democracy. It is so easy these days to openly shoot at people. So easy to call Indian citizens as terrorists. And even if you support this government it doesn't mean everyone must conform to it. As a citizen what good is my voice if it is unable to put forward my opinion. Indians have always been an argumentative race where reason, debate and questioning have been an important aspect in our day-to-day governance. If you don't question the government today, it will trample all over you tomorrow when you won't even have a voice to give your opinion.

Absolutely agree with fact that after 2014 India's image among foreign countries changed. Earlier foreign countries use to weigh India in same weighing scale as the African countries (no offence). They perceived India as some poor, inconfident, subservient, weak country, a country of snake charmers as portrayed by Nehru. In 7 decades India's govt & foreign policy actualy never worked to build India's image outside as such. They did just the routine bureaucratic & diplomatic work. What we call as soft power & international clout such things were never done by Indian govt b4.

Military power is just on thing . What about future economic growth due to young demographics , huge market of 1.3 billion, prime location in Indian Ocean, smart tech people ( IT hub) , booming startups and many more . And we will become self reliant in defense in a decade for sure since only two major things India needs Nuclear Attack Submarine technology and Jet engine and maybe drone technology for the latter we are partnering with France and USA.
