Some of those actors (like Henry Silva and that one black guy) were waaay too old to convincingly play American GI's during Vietnam. Most of the fighting men were in their late teens and early 20's, not 60...Lol

One of my best friends was 53 during his 4 term out of 6 terms in the jungles of Vietnam. He was special forces and only retired because he couldn't get a 7th tour. Till the day he died he never spoke of the bad parts. Only the good people he meant while there and that they were the reason we were there.
