Glad to have you Scrap mechanic Hyce! I would totally be down to see you can Kan work together to build some machines to show steam mechanics. If y'all had time, I would love to see y'all do a survival world with trains but that's a lot of grinding and I don't think there's a survival map with the modded rails added.

@@zachtalongamesyt9981 I did see that but it's a stream series, (Which definitely makes sense for how much grinding SM demands of you), but I'm generally not interested in streams. Also he's making his own rails which I don't foresee SM handling well.

I think a good idea for a newbie-pro series would be the Newbie coming up with an idea of something they want to build, and Pro can walk them through figuring out how to build it, offering different options and newbie gets to pick which one to try.

Hey hyce, I was looking for copies of little engines and big men to read during "seat inspections" at work, but there seems to be a single copy being shared by my entire town of 3million people. So I am not holding out hopes of getting my hands on it. If you could read some of the stories out of it for us I would certainly enjoy listening to it.

Onions do have a lot of sugar, that's why they make you cry when you cut them. Sugar is rather energy dense (not remotely as much as coal but still). Fun Fact sugar beets have roughly the same energy density as lignite coal (brown coal).

I think you could build some really cool things in this game. If you got used to the nuances of the game, you could be a very prolific creator. I'd love to see more Scrap Mechanic things from you and kAN. At least between major RO updates.

I watched Khan back when he built most of these trains, he started out as a Scrap Mechanic KZbinr, I remember those times.

Not quite, this setup started to appear on the GP7. The brake valves on the cab units work in the opposite direction.

Ok, the tracks in Scrap Mechanic are accurate to what you'd get if you scaled up Code 322 45mm gauge track to standard gauge.

What I would do to work on restoring and maintaining a steam locomotive myself… tried for years to find a way to work on the locomotives at Black Hills Central, but they wouldn’t even give me time of day. And now I live in St. Louis. Any advice on how I could get started living the dream myself, Hyce?
