To be fair though... there's no evidence that supports the argument that Bruce could have been saved. For instance, in Michael Jackson's case that we cover in another episode, it was pure negligence. In Bruce Lee's case, it seems a little more complex. H went to take a nap, and from that moment it was unclear how long he hadn't been breathing...
@axelstone31313 жыл бұрын
@@Howitwas I agree. I don’t see anyway MJ could have been saved without quickly administering some sort of anti-propofol drug. The doctor must have known what he did almost immediately after doing it and seeing he wasn’t responding? With Bruce I feel like he had a longer period where he could have been saved because he didn’t take an intravenous drug which works immediately he consumed it instead which takes longer to metabolise. But I’m not a doctor so it’s just a thought. Since he probably died his in sleep like they both did. I wonder if you could ask Bruce now what happens maybe he’s also say “I have no idea. Bruce had been injecting cortisone for years, a drug with very dangerous side effects but it was the only thing that sootheed his back pain due to the lexion he suffered by lifting weights. On the other hand, it should be noted that Bruce removed the sweat glands from the armpits and because of that his body did not produce enough sweat to cool his body. The day Bruce died in a lot of heat in Hong Kong, that's why they found his body almost naked in betty's room. Prolonged use of cortisone injections coupled with incorrect body temperature regulation were the causes of this cerebral edema. Bruce Lee had taken Equagesiq before and nothing happened to him, he had no allergy to that medication.

The suspicious part in all of this is why both Betty and Chow didn't want to call 911 for Bruce. No circumstance should prevented them to call 911 if they truly wanted to save him. Betty instead called Chow, Chow gets there decidedto call his personal doctor instead, all the time wasted while Bruce is literally dying in need of urgent medical emergency help.
@ah25524 жыл бұрын
He was already dead when Chow got there. Pei freaked out, panicked and was too afraid to call the ambulance because they would discovered the affair. The day Bruce died. He was performing some of his moves for other colleagues from his "Enter The Dragon" film. He felt very light headed after doing that and experienced a headache. And then asked for an aspirin and went to lay down never to wake up. Now that's the story most of us know. What many folks don't know is he had his sweat glands removed under his arm pits. Simply because he thought it looked better not to sweat on camera. However, when you do that you effectively take away the bodies natural ability to cool itself. The day he died happen to be one of the hottest on record in Hong Kong. Summer in Hong Kong or Tokyo is BRUTAL as they are tropical climates. Also, many young athletes who suffer from heat stroke have symptoms of cerebral edema. Bruce also had a bout with this a few weeks prior i believe and was rushed to the hospital as he was near death during that experience. My theory is it wasn't a curse, or someone poisoning him, the mafia, or allergic reaction to aspirin since he had taken it many times before. It was when he removed his sweat glands that the real health problems started for him. If your body can't effectively cool itself you will overheat. I think he died of heat exhaustion and the aspirin he was given for his headache could have exacerbated things. His autopsy revealed cerebral edema and again that ties in with having his sweat gland removed and his body overheating.

The Cerebral Edema he was dealing with for some time, before when he was working out, he hurt his back doing a Good Morning which is basically a heavy barbell on your shoulders, and you bend forward at the waste. He hurt his back doing that and couldn't walk or do anything for like 6 months, during this time he wrote the Tao of Jeet Kune Do. There were some periods from that time til his death that he had collapsed because of the edema, as he developed an allergic reaction to the pain killer that he had to take because of his injury, so its not like it wasn't completely unknown that there was something wrong with him. When they did the Autopsy on him, the doctor that conducted it said that Bruce had a body of an 18yr old he was so fit.

@King of The Zinger learning his style has got nothing to do with me not having bigger heart than yours. He's a great actor without a shadow of a doubt. A great martial art practionaire who's inspired so many people around the world. But have you ever thought, hadn't he cheated on his wife, he wouldn't have been accidentally killed by his mistress? Cheating on your partner is actually deeper than people realise. It destroys their outlook on love, their future relationship, and their peace withing themselves. A real man stays faithful. He doesn't have time to look for other women because he's too busy looking for new ways to love his own.

But this takes a whole lotta planning and money . As far as this matter goes as matters are supposed to go , this is what I suppose happened to brother Bruce , and as such , the sightings in Brazil and other sightings south of the Equator , could be true if one is inclined to ponder upon disappearances and sightings of famous people . How do I get to heaven? Will my good deeds be measured against my bad deeds? Do I need to be a good person to go to heaven? How do I know if I'm good enough? Well the bible says no man is good, for all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. So how do we get to heaven? Answer: By believing on Jesus Christ who took the punishment for our sin on the cross. There are no amount of good works we can do to achieve salvation because salvation is a free gift of God. We need to humble ourselves, realize we are sinners and that we need a savior. John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave his only son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

I think he and his wife had an understanding. He once told her that if he ever cheated on her and she found out about it, that it meant nothing. She said that she didn't know if he had been unfaithful when they had the conversation and she didn't care. What mattered was that he loved her and the children. Since his death she has shown her ruthless side. She has never shared any of his wealth with his family and has gone to court to try to prevent them from telling their story or benefitting from him in any way. Although he told his wife that if he did sleep with another woman it wouldn't mean anything, it seems that he did have a year long affair with Betty Ting Pei and from her account it went deeper than just a fling. In her book Betty claimed that Bruce's marriage was a shotgun wedding and that he and Linda were barely on speaking terms towards the end.

“Swelling of the brain”. I’m no medical expert but if my brain started to swell I’d start screaming like hell out of pain. Bruce Lee smoked some pot (or chowed down a brownie) that night, but he wasn’t high on morphine. I’m sure the pain must’ve been unbearable while the brain was swelling. Yet...Betty Ting Pae didn’t hear shit ??? Apartments in Hong Kong aren’t big. If she was in the kitchen while Bruce was in the bedroom, she would’ve heard the screaming loud and clear and she would’ve called an ambulance.
@Howitwas4 жыл бұрын
That's a curious perspective. Do you think that the swelling of the brain causes pain? We suspect that the swelling of the brain is the end result of a severe body malfunction that starts abruptly. We believe that Bruce had immediately lost consciousness and died shortly after. It is likely that he felt nothing. Although, it would be very interesting to learn a bit more about your theory.
@JuliusCesar20054 жыл бұрын
@@Howitwas yup just a theory. Another theory about his death goes related to the fact that he was taking cortisone shots ever since he had that back injury that kept him hospitalized. Cortisone was still a relatively new treatment method at the time. Bruce Lee kept on taking it in order to continue doing martial arts. Eventually his body gave up. Even if he’d known the consequences down the road, he would’ve still done it. If he had stopped martial arts he may as well have wished to be dead.

The most plausible explanation for Bruce Lee’s death was a surgery he did 6 months prior to his death to cure a condition called hyperhidrosis. The surgery is called sympathectomy which debilitates the nervous system’s thermoregulation capacity among other not so obvious effects. That dysfunction combined with intense physical activity and hot climate resulted in his unfortunate death.

I apprently he died of cerebral edema . In December 1972 he had an operation for his sweat glands on his body. Because you know in whenever he fights in movies he always sweats . Then later he was diagnosed with heat stroke. After the operation.he started fainting. Then four months later he created a dialogue of the movie called enter the dragon. Then all of a sudden he was not feeling well in the head . Then he started vomiting 🤢. And spasm. Then he was rushed to the hospital . To this day i still don't if he put a lot of stress in his body.
