i am so thankful that you made this video. i coudnt understand why it takes me soooo long to ice and smooth a cake and how you do it so quickly... I also struggle with when is enough enough.. I am a perfectionist so that is a point hard to find ha ha ... appreciate discovery i am not crazy or the slowest person in the world. i also picked up that you have a wet cloth you continuously wipe your smoother on.. I will try that along with the spray bottle.. I usually used hot water after to smooth but i dont like the light and dark shades that leaves on the buttercream. I was in the process of moving over to only smb but i will give it one more try..

Thank you. I get weary sometimes with "shorts" so much is edited out and shorts and reels can sometimes be for shorter attention spans lol. I'm also thrilled to see you using sturdy dowels!!!!!! So many use the Boba straws and it seems to work for them BUT the one disaster I had my whole time doing tiered cakes was when I used them and the cake leaned!! So I have never done that again.😮

They requested cream cheese with raspberry for the filling. I refrigerate after filling if the fillings are soft, then after the crumbcoat before the final coat.
