This land is solid so the foundation cost will be low. If you were building in a water logged area with loose soil the foundation cost will be quite high because you will need a lot more reinforcement and will need to cast the foundation walls instead of using blocks.

We have different kinds/types of foundation suitable for different kinds of soil type and they all have their basic structural requirements… here, we did a strip foundation. A raft foundation, which you were talking about, would cost higher considering the reinforcement and concrete work required… I have a video on raft foundations…

Wow, I think it is way cheaper to build in Nigeria than Liberia . Less than US$ 3000 for that foundation. I spent over US$15k just on my 5 bedroom foundation.

The cost was mentioned at the completion of the dpc…. It was done milestone by milestone like foundation to dpc, dpc to decking, decking, decking to roof… etc

Depends on what and where you are building ... but hollow blocks are generally better in load bearing and in areas prone to water sipage... it is recommended to have a set back of at least 2.4M round the building and more than that at the front... I hope this helps..

Thank you for your comment, however, I mentioned what it cost the project to get to each level at the end of each milestone, the total cost is shown… here the project is divided as foundation to dpc, dpc to decking, decking, then decking to roofing stage , roofing, etc… just check where the dpc was done, you will see the total cost to that level…
